Lovely old house but very cold in winter. Shower/toilet had no hand dryer, paper towels or fan. Very old bathroom. Booked a room with a bathroom shared with one other but that didn't seem to exist. Breakfast cheapest bread and not much variety of spreads. Tea bags insipid. Recommend for summer only. Rather pay only a little more and go to a motel for more comforts.

Great place to rest. Lovely people. I had a service dog. Very accommodating. Vibes positive in this place. Clean, respectful. Good times. I really enjoyed my stay. You know something is good via the vibrations. I was comfortable from getgo. Allday everyday

The hostel location is excellent being close to ferry check-in and railway station. It is only 100m away and on the main road. There are 5 and 6 bed dorms with usual squeaky bunks. Nice kitchen, dining and quiet rooms and access to front verandah and garden. Hot tub in garde Said there was "free breakfast" but never saw any. Tea and coffee available all the time. Friendly staff and a busy place.

Had jewelry stolen by room cleaner/manager then I finally got hold of the owners to be told " its budget accommodation what do you expect" better places to stay in Picton with honest workers and owners.

Sadly I left a very special ring in the room which was then stolen by a staff member. Management were unhelpful and my feeling was this was not the first time a guests valuable property accidentally left behind has gone missing.

This backpackers was lovley to stay at. The beds are comfy and clean. The spa was relaxing and hot (40 degrees). Small breakfast provided of toast/spreads which was nice. The place gets cleaned regularly. Manager was friendly and talkative.

Great wee place at a great price. We had two nights here and there was everything we needed. A quaint old Villa with plenty of options. It was clean, warm and had a well equipped kitchen. Friendly staff too. Loved relaxing on the verandah couch to get the last of the afternoon sun, and also the garden lights at night.
