I traveled 6 hours from London and had an awful day my friend and I were hungry and wanted to eat and the staff a man and woman told me have I booked and I said know sorry can’t fit you in no tables so the rudeness and attitude and the hostility I received was disgraced and talked to very badly so we ended up at a pub to have a meal when we come back the restaurant was empty disgraceful also the service from the staff is disgraceful and for the price you charge is overpriced for a rubbish hotel we’re the standards have truly dropped and also the layout of the room and also a very uncomfortable bed as well . Also one chair and now more settee . Also the food issue the quality bad and why should we eat out at either places because you can’t be bothered to keep customers 😡

Another great stay at premier inn Pickering comfortable and clean rooms nice place to eat at the thyme bar and grill and friendly staff. Great place to stay for trips around North Yorkshire and the east coast

Dreadful experience. The bathroom tiles were mouldy, the ceiling paint peeling because the extractor fan wasn’t working. I reported it to reception but they were unhelpful. Poor menu choices at dinner, and was presented with a bill at the end to pay for additional £1 for a pint of Guinness. Very disappointing.

The manager was extremely helpful and patient in helping to change a second night booking from another Premier Inn and swapping rooms around so we could stay in the same room for a second night. Beds really comfy, excellent shower and quiet location.

We stayed here for 2 nights, room was clean, only 20 mins walk into pickering and co-op 10 mins walk down the road. The windows on this preiemr Inn don't open, I do like some fresh air in the room, but it wasn't an issue. This preimer inn is very short staffed which was causing the issues at reception, dinner and breakfast, the lady at breakfast was doing everything, showing people in, cleaning the tables and trying to keep all the cups, food, etc full, and dealing with customers moaning at her, I felt really sorry for her. If you want an evening me here do book or you won't get a table. Loads of free parking, I would stay again, it would be a great preiemr Inn if the staff issue was sorted out.

The only drawback with this hotel was the bed was not up to premier inns standards,also the evening meal menu was limited,everything with chips ,not enough variety to choose from

Our group was refused food when we checked in at 6pm because we hadn't prebooked.short of staff,don't stay here.
