Hostess lovely and nothing too much trouble. We had an evening meal and the food was fantastic, breakfast was great also.

Lovely owner and her staff are a credit to her. Excellent place to stay. Motorcycle friendly with secure off street parking.

An excellent 'home from home' stay and a great location. It's a short walk to the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway.
A warm friendly welcome on arrival and we were shown immediately to our room.
Our room (No6) has a great view and is spacious and bright. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. Tea & Coffee making facilities along with biscuits were appreciated.
The ensuite bathroom was spacious too and had complimentary toiletries.
The breakfast was lovely, so many choices to pick and the portions were generous.
A great place to stay!!

We were made to feel very welcome, a cup of tea on arrival and they had gone to the trouble of finding a suitable space for us to store our bikes.

Great location, 5 minutes away from the centre of Pickering. Valerie was a superb host, friendly and welcoming, accommodation was excellent, parking to the rear was ample. Public areas were clean and well kept. Room was excellent and clean bed was comfortable, nice shower . Friendly atmosphere, plenty of clientele, breakfast was good, plenty of choice and tasty. Set you up for the day. Great value compered to other hotels in town. We would recommend and use Old Manse again. Friendly staff also serving at breakfast.

The old manse hotel is very friendly , homely , cosy hotel , in the beautiful town of Pickering , Yorkshire . Rooms generous size , bed very comfortable , tea /coffee facility all toiletry products in the bathroom . Breakfast Full English to" die for " totally set us up for the day Would defiantly use this Hotel again .

Went to the Old Manse in pickering for an overnight stay with husband. Hotel is minutes away from center of pickering with pubs, Restaurants, shops etc. The hotel was spotlessly clean, breakfast was really good quality, lots of options. You chose breakfast items day before and time you want to eat and then come down to breakfast. Host was very friendly, will definately go back when I the area.
