This is a lovely place to stay if you want to see the countryside of Sicily and eat locally- grown food beautifully prepared. The staff are attentive and friendly - being able to speak a little Italian helps, the rooms a good size. Nice pool and look out for the donkeys!

Not a holiday, more an experience of the best of la Sicilia. Peace, stunning countryside, fabulous produce from the Il Drago farm, all bioligiche. The staff and owners could not be more welcoming and helpful. The food is fabulous, eg ripe apricots and mulberries bursting with juice and flavour. Their own wine can’t be bettered. Our room was spacious and kept clean. The pool is a lovely size. Buy their almonds, and do not forget to taste the limoncello! Once tried, never forgotten!

Exceptional service, friendly staff especially Francesco, Gamini and Sammy. Beautiful views, walks, and lovely mini zoo and playground for the little ones. Food was delicious and abundant. Our room and the whole place were very clean and well kept! We hope we'll be able to visit again soon!

Elegance, friendliness, abundant beauty, serenity, peacefulness, caring, farm to table, organic, respect, welcoming, attention to detail, clean, family...this for us was a 5* experience. We were welcomed with joy & smiles. We were cared for as if we were family. The drive to this beautiful place is wonderful, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, rolling hills, peace & quiet. Serene, natural elegance. The room was very comfortable, the pool is fantastic, the views are breathtaking, the silence is palpable. We were blown away by the heart of Signor Filippo & his wife, the friendly welcome by Salvo, the vibrancy of Samu who took care of our evening in the restaurant & the sincerity of Carlo the chef who so thoughtfully created vegan dishes for me & delicious local dishes for my husband. We were so touched by our experience here. It's a little corner of paradise. We'd definitely stay again & highly recommend staying in the hotel or bringing your camper & staying in the fully equipped grounds. A very special place, cared for by a very special group of people. Superb service. Excellent food and outstanding views. Beautifully designed and very comfortable. Chose this hotel as we had been to see the magnificent mosaics near Piazza Armerina. We extended our stay at Il Drago as it was so comfortable and there were nice walks nearby too. The swimming pool area is magnificent. Highly recommend Il Drago for a relaxing break.

Paradise on earth. Owners and staff are wonderful. The location is one of a kind, surrounded by trees and nature. The pool and outdoor garden area well suited for every person including disability access. Plenty of delicious food and wine as dinner. Secure parking for bikers 🏍️

We went off season (well late May for the Italians is off season) o no-one there but fully staffed and nothing too much trouble. The buildings are beautifully designed, spotless and finished to the highest level. Now picture this with adjacent pools, acres of agricultural land (incusing a Walnut orchard), livestock, a zoo, a river valley, hills ... I like an early morning walk and clocked 10km within the grounds never crossing the same path twice. Stunning views in tranquil and landscaped grounds over the centre of Sicily (no villages just countryside ) Finally, the food. Highest end and freshest you are likely to find with generous variety and all prepared with love and served in the most romantic of dining rooms. We won't go back as it can't possibly be this good again but I bet it would be. If a pool is important to you on an agrituristic trip, check it is open. We loved the frogs who were making the most of a delayed start to the season as work on the pool was not quite complete.

As part of our roadtrip trough Sicily we stayed here for two nights. It has been nothing but wonderful! A beautiful spot, very very friendly staff and the food was amazing. Gamini, the cook did everything to make us feel at home and he prepared the most wonderful dishes for us!! No need to go to another restaurant, everything you want is right here. Sadly tomorrow after breakfast we’re leaving but we we’ll never forget this wonderful place!
