We just LOVED our one week stay with Rita at Villa Clementine! Beautiful property and spacious chalet with our own patio. We had the pool to ourselves the entire week. Breakfast was served every morning in Ritas own kitchen, and it was simply wonderful and charming - her homebaked bread is to die for ! One evening Rita took the time to teach us to bake pizza in her outdoor stone pizza oven - she even made the dough for us ! - extraordinary friendly and sweet of her to help with this :-) We would HIGHLY recommend Villa Clementine as a place to vacate in Sicily

Everything about this place is idilic from the location, the accommodation (we had the chalet) but the best of all is Rita the ever willing, ever helpful proprietor. It’s close to the main town which is also worth a visit and a 10 minute drive to the Roman Villa. All in all a glorious place to stay…

We needed a rest from the sights and Rita provides the perfect place. Very close to Villa Romana del Casale, a highlight for any visit to Sicily. Adjacent to Piazza Armerina, a charming town with excellent options for dinner (Rita knows the best). Her place is an older villa, downstairs a formal living room and library; behind it a more recent, but rustic "family room" with dining table for 16, with fireplace. Next to this is, of course, the kitchen where Rita outdoes herself, serving homemade bread, local honeys and jams, skillets of sautéed spinach to complement the omlettes. ＜sigh＞. Rooms are upstairs and of generous size and complete with all amenities. Gardens and pool surround that would certainly be enjoyable in warmer weather. Best of all, was Rita's warmth and hospitality, willing to do whatever (in our case, laundry) to make your vacation perfect. Come visit her, and her four-legged pal, Arturo. You may decide it was the best part of your visit to wonderful Sicily.

This is a country house bed and breakfast with unpretentious pricing and great service. The drive in was awkward but the parking was easy. The host was absolutely great. Charming. Good breakfast. Clean room and complimentary nip of good alcohol when you arrived. I felt obliged to tip and I tipped generously. This was fantastic.

A homey place with a warm and accommodating proprietress, Rita. The breakfast was particularly excellent including her homemade jams ( she even fed me closer to lunchtime so I could head off to the Villa Romana early!) This is a family home, not a hotel, so a true B&B. The room was very nice with a good bed (my husband did not like the pillows however!) with good size bathroom and was very clean. There are places to sit outside and enjoy a bit of sunshine( although there is a noisy road nearby). The signage to get there is exceptionally good - be forewarned it is down a single track road with a fair number of potholes which only Italians would make 2 way!! It is about a 10 minute drive to the main sight, the Villa Romana, but Rita will offer to drive you into town or pick you up ( for a small fee, I believe). Driving there is not difficult ( but I am very comfortable navigating in Italy.)

The house is charming and interesting. Books everywhere, which makes everything more interesting. The room is very comfortable, large and well appointed. The bathroom is immense. The host, Rita, is adorable. She goes above and beyond to keep her guests happy. Sit down with her and listen to her stories about Sicily and about the tiwn you’re in. Piazza Armerina is definitely worth a visit.

We loved our two-night stay at the Villa Clementine. Rita is an exceptional host and a wonderful cook. She showered us with kindness and huge amounts of delicious, fresh, home cooked food at breakfast and dinner. She went out of her way to find out what we liked to eat (we are vegetarians).

Villa Clementine is a nice property just outside of Piazza Armerina. There is a substantial garden, big rooms, modern amenities. Rita, the third generaton owner, runs everything herself, and is (among other things), an excellent cook, happy to demonstrate local products, her grandmother's recipes, and an extensive wine cellar. Based on our experience, having dinner at the villa, cooked by Rita, should not be missed. If you want to explore the town or have dinner there but are reluctant to drive in a medieval maze, she will gladly take you there and return to pick you up. We had a great time at Villa Clementine. Highly recommended.
