We had a last minute booking at La Casa Rossa but when we got there were met by Luciano saying we'd be staying round the corner in his house (rather than his daughter's). We lucked out - an equally impressive view over the Duomo, delicious and plentiful breakfast (sweet and savoury) and a generous host in Luciano. You are a bit out of the centre and do need a car but Luciano also has safe parking.

We were greeted very warmly by our host, Luciano - welcoming us even as we were getting out of our car! The view of the Cathedral and town across the way is great - and hanging out on the balcony and in other parts of the property are good ways to relax. Breakfast is an abundant assortment of everything you could possibly want, and access to drinks and snacks during the day much appreciated! Luciano takes pride in making his visitors feel at home, and he treats his visitors as family. And the value for the price is not to be beat!
