Beautiful guest house in Piano. Heavy wooden gate opens to reveal hidden garden with lemon trees and grape vines. Room was lovely with tall ceilings and tall shuttered windows looking out on the mountains and garden. Amazing to wake up to. Spotlessly clean. Fantastic friendly owners. Piano di Sorrento is only a few minutes by train from Sorrento but is so much quieter, no massive crowds here. Caluga house is a lovely calm oasis just a few minutes from the station and a great base for exploring the area.

Lovely and quiet. We were in Freda room which is the smallest but has 2 large Juliet Balconies with a great view of the mountains in the background and birdsong in morning and evening. An oasis of calm. 5 mins from train station and then less than 10 mins on train to Sorrento. Not a lot in Piano but Giovannis a great and v reasonably priced restaurant. Spotlessly clean and really friendly welcome which included a bottle of sparkling wine. If you want to explore Pompei, Vesuvius and Amalfi this makes for a great base particularly if you are on a budget. Also a bus that takes you directly to Naples airport in 1 hour and saves all the hassle of combining g trains and buses and only 13 Euro.

Caluga House is located in a quiet part of Piano di Sorrento, perfect to get away from the busy towns and touristy spots along the Amalfi Coast. We stayed here for one night after touring the Amalfi Coast and enjoyed the peaceful and quiet building and beautiful garden. Alessandra, the host, is absolutely lovely and amazing and could not make one feel more welcome. Having this very personal touch and service is very rare and special!

Wonderful hidden gem! So glad we found this place- it was absolutely amazing! Alessandra was one of the most helpful and knowledgeable host around and just so happens to work in the travel industry. The place is so quaint and you feel like you’ve walked into a different time. The place is beautiful and all the small touches make it all the more special, like the slippers, coffee machine and toiletries. Feels so cosy and the view from the bedroom was unforgettable. On our room, only slight downside was that the bathroom was down the hall, but still completely private and a lovely and clean bathroom, but meant taking keys with you every time you needed to use it. The place was spotless and full of character. Would definitely stay here again and recommending to friends who visit the area. It’s only a 5mins walk to the Piano Di Sorrento station too and there’s a beautiful harbour area close by, to go down to for beautiful evening dinner in the most gorgeous of surroundings. Thanks Alessandra for all your help.

The B&B Caluga House is a wonderful structure with all the comforts, the cleanliness is excellent and everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail. Alessandra who takes care of the structure is a sweet person and ready to accommodate all the guests' needs, she is always available and very present. parking is easy to find. I recommend it for a relaxing and good taste holiday

Appena tornate da due giorni al kaluga,che dire,tutto perfetto,nn abbiamo visto di persona Alessandra,ma è stata sempre molto presente e disponibile tramite SMS, gentilissima anche la sua collaboratrice Antonella che ci ha consegnato le chiavi al nostro arrivo,puntuali, alle 13,che dire,ci siamo trovati benissimo nella camera Frida,un gioiellino, pulizia impeccabile sia in camera che nelle eree comuni, bagno magnifico con le tipiche piastrelle colorate,molto belle,fornito il bagno di asciuga capelli e piastra,molto molto utile,il tutto in un sacchetto di cotone con le iniziali del posto.lenzuola e asciugamani morbidi,puliti e fi alta qualità, difficilmente si trova quando si viaggia,cura nei dettagli,pulizia,tutto ottimo veramente!letto molto comodo,si riposa bene, bellissima la busta al risveglio,molto apprezzate le ciabattine, complimenti di nuovo ad Alessandra,torneremo sicuramente l'anno prossimo

Il Caluga House è semplicemente perfetto. Un ambiente meraviglioso, luminosissimo , con bellissime finestre enormi, in una villa con un giardino incantevole.Pulizia impeccabile! Comodissimo perchè a soli 5 min a piedi dalla Circumvesuviana, ma lontano dal sovraffollamento turistico di Sorrento. La host Alessandra è straordinaria, ci ha dato tantissime informazioni utili sulla zona e ha avuto anche mille attenzioni per i nostri due bambini.
