특히 주인과 스태프의 친절함이 가장 인상적이었습니다.
자쿠지와 온수풀은 추운 날씨에도 이용할 수 있어 좋았습니다.
별도 주문한 저녁식사와 이 곳만의 와인도 훌륭했습니다.
아침식사도 푸짐하고, 별도로 엄청난 양의 스크램블드 에그를 받았네요. :)
+ 귀여운 고슴도치 인형도 가득합니다.

The Convento San Bartolomeo is an experience not to be missed. Converted monastery lovingly maintained with luxurious rooms, meditative spaces, a beautiful pool kept at 90 degrees F by natural springs.The staff are all incredibly helpful. Dinner was lovely, as was breakfast. We would have loved to stay longer.

The place is simply gorgeous, we attended a wedding, the appartment was big and had everything we needed, great bkft, great pool, jacuzzi, view, excellent staff, we we told the history of the place. Highly recommended. We loved it and love to go again.

We arrived at this gem early, and they showed us right to our room. It was a small suite, sparsely furnished consistent with the historical inhabitants hundreds of years earlier, the Franciscan friars. The bed was super comfy with a large pillow top. They recommended a local restaurant, 5 minutes from the hotel, that was so good, we returned twice. The restaurants in the neighboring town of Abbadia were not good. The hotel and pool were totally relaxing and it is a great place to unwind in this 800 year old monastery.

The Convent is authentic, beautiful, elegant, very well maintained and clean ! Our host who is the actual heiress, Mariana, made the whole experience even more pleasant with a detailed historical tour and simply by being authentic and extremely kind and funny:) I would definitely like to come back!!! Thank you

This is an amazing plaze. It’s an old monastery that now is vonverted into a hotell/B&B. The building of the monastery started the year 1271…! The view over ”The Golden Valley is breath taking from the pool area. I can strongly recomend this place. Stefan Sauk Actor

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Hotel is in an old convent building. Beautifully restored, with amazing rooms. Great view on the Tuscany fields. They are dog friendly. Service is incredible..maybe besides young lady that is a waiter..she’s a little bit grumpy..and not welcome..but the rest of the staff is a TOP. Dinners in the beautiful room are a must. Everyday there is a different menu consisted from 4 meals. It stars at 20.15. It was a little bit late for us but we understand that in Italy they have different timing. Breakfast was a little bit basic..and coffee was just so so. Besides that everything was perfect. The feeling of the old convento is incredible.

We tend to look for remarkable and special places and found this gem in Piancastagnaio (Italy). Wonderful setting, renovated in 2008 without loosing its old charm. We spoke to one of the owners (Carlo) who told us all about the history of the location and the building. What is not mentioned on the website of the convent is the availability of a pool in the garden. Certainly on warm days (during our visit is was 37-38C) a welcome surprise. Staff is excellent, very friendly and make you feel at home and very welcome. We took the opportunity to have dinner in the convento. A fixed menu that changes every day, And that is definitely recommended. Are there any remarks: Of course, there is no air conditioning in the rooms and on warm evenings that can be an issue to at night. Overall: highly recommended
