We travelled to Hervey Bay to visit Fraser Island and wanted somewhere ”cheap and cheerful” for one night. We booked this motel and had a very pleasant surprise. As we had travelled by train the bus dropped us at the terminal and the motel was only a 10 minute walk away. The reception staff were very helpful, both when we arrived and next morning and the room was very clean and the bed comfortable. For $18 per head we ordered the big breakfast and it certainly lived up to its name, in fact we could have shared it. The motel was within a 5 minute walk to the RSL and we caught the courtesy bus back. We would not hesitate to stay at this accommodation again.

Great location, quiet place, very very clean, nice and big room, easy parking, just cross street from the beach and little walk from kids playground and WetSide water park. Friendly staff, for sure we will come back.

The people running this motel are outstanding! Room was spotless and fresh. I was offered a town map on arrival. They pay attention to detail and even when I forgot to order breakfast they delivered what I ordered yesterday. Amazing. I stayed at an ‘ upmarket’ motel here last week but couldn’t get in this week. I will not go back there when this is available. Thank you Main Street Motel.
