I'm ****, I should have read the opinions before booking. Wifi is not always available and the opinions have pointed to this problem. What is disgusting is that the staff led us on board and MENTI for several days pretending a momentary decrease of the network or then rain time!!! ??? the hotel was renamed to ”Recenta Style” just a few weeks ago. for the price it's a good place. basic, but clean and easy to find. shower is just a part of the toilet with no shower curtain or glass for separation so the entire toilet gets wet, if that matters to some. the immediate area has next to nothing, except for a decent japanese sushi bar serving sushi and bento sets. for anything else at all, walk about 40 mins into charming phuket town. you don't have to get all the way into town, cos 2/3 of the way there's shops for breakfast, coffee, desserts. across the canal in front of the hotel there's a restaurant that operates till late with really loud singing, so the rooms facing the back would be a lot better. didn't use the pool cos it's on the ground floor sandwiched into a very small space in the shadows of the buildings all around so anything outside of the 1-hour window right in the middle of the day it gets absolutely no sun. the shuttle bus runs 4-5 times a day to town, you have to reserve a spot in advance, and unsure why it takes 40 mins to get to town when you can walk the same distance in 40 mins. reception staff was very strict about the 2pm check-in time, which is okay if she'd explained that they were full, but it was just a flat no.

Overall a good stay. The location is great - very close to the main streets and Sunday night market. The staff are absolutely lovely and can’t do enough for you. The rooms are good - well equipped with a fridge, lamps and decent aircon. The bathroom was okay - the shower pressure wasn’t amazing but I’ve definitely had worse, however it was hard to get a good temperature as the tap was really sensitive so I found it either too hot or too cold. It is slightly noisy, but ear plugs solve that easily. Worth noting there is no lift which wasn’t an issue for us but may be for elderly / less abled people. Overall well worth it for the price and would stay again if I visited old town Phuket.

Best hotel we have been so far in Thailand. Great breakfast, nice pool on the rooftop and gym well equipped. Street food just front of the hotel. Ah, and super nice shower gel and shampoo in hotel!

The rooms are simple but pleasant, and the location, right by night market and in close proximity of numerous cafes and restaurants, is excellent. The buffet breakfast is once again simple, but satisfying: there are pieces of toast, hard boiled eggs, cereal, banana muffins, watermelon, tea, coffee, juice, and a few other foods on offer for you to choose as you like. All in all, great accommodation by the Old Town in Phuket!

The hotel is located near Phuket Town - has its quietness yet not too far from Thalang Road The staffs are all very kind and nice Love the ambience of the hotel, the room, the restaurant etc Will definitely stay at Courtyard by Marriott if I am back to Phuket

Stayed here for 2 nights, the check in process is very fast and my room was ready just right in time. Maimoon is the best! She helped me all the way! The room itself have enough space and the view at night is very stunning. The rooftop bar is soooo cozy. The breakfast is superb all food are warm. I had a problem on my last night the electricity suddenly shut down, as I informed reception since it’s very late night I expect to have some delay however I didn’t wait that long engineer arrived and told me that cannot be fixed after 5 mins HK and even FO staff helped me to change the room. I wasn’t able to get their names since it’s late night. Overall I had the best experience and will surely comeback!

The room had unpleasant smell resembling sweat and the personnel agreed to change my room which I appreciate. The new room had better atmosphere but still had same smell of lower concentration as I could judge.

We stayed here for 2 nights, it’s about a 20 minute walk to the Old Town. The facilities here are really good - a really big gym and a good size pool too! The rooms are really big too with so much space. Would recommend.

Don’t hesitate. Good people. Great welcoming. Perfect if you want to be close to phuket town but not the middle of it. Everything one may need for is around also.
