We had a very pleasant 9-day stay at the Mövenpick Bangtao. The rooms were beautifully furnished and very spacious, and our extended family of 6 enjoyed ourselves greatly. The breakfast buffet was superb, the pool was very enjoyable and the service we received, particularly from Mick and Sunma, was top-notch! Thank you Mövenpick for making this such a lovely holiday for us.

All the staff are nice and trying to help. Rooms are clean and very spacious. Breakfast is good with different varieties of foods including bottless champagne, their Thai tea is excellent, other than the foods from the buffet, you can also pick the foods and drinks from the menu on the table. Buggy is available to bring you around in the hotel. We are surprised to have bike rent for free if you would love to. There’s one area is renovating and won’t be affected, they are managing well. However, flies and mosquitoes are all around in the hotel, we have to put on the repellent. Some electric repellent machines are provided from the hotel too. Golf facilities are also provided in the hotel. Anyway, I would recommend this hotel.

We chose the hotel as the location for a long awaited family reunion with my husband’s family as they have a huge range of activities we felt would suit all the family. The hotel is in varying stages of renovation and upgrading which meant two of the restaurants were out of action which we were informed of upon our arrival. Our ‘grande’ room was also one which hasn’t yet been renovated and after 24 hours we realised that there was some mould in the room and our clothes and the bedding felt damp to the touch as well as the room smelling musty. The rooms of our family members had been renovated more recently and didn’t have any issues. I received an email for a ‘during stay survey’ and shared my feedback accordingly. I can’t fault the hotel’s response which was to contact me the same day and request to meet with me. I met an assistant manager, Joe, who was very helpful and we ended up moving rooms to a fabulous pool side room as well as receiving an invite to the excellent Thai buffet a their Baan Talay restaurant. I was genuinely impressed at the clear desire to receive feedback and make improvements. We’ll be returning some time in the next year and I look forward to enjoying the newly refurbished restaurants which were out of action this time. The breakfast buffet was varied and there was a huge range of complimentary activities which we didn’t get to try much of this time but look forward to on our next stay.

The location is great. The breakfast is ok lots of options but the quality is missing something. The service is pleasant but quite slow. We sent food to be warmed and gave tip (they took about 30 minutes to warm the food) and we had to call numerous times for follow up. They did return the tip for the inconvenience. Overall would still recommend the hotel.

The hotel is value for money. It is nearby the beach . The room is clean. However, it is quite far from city center. The problem I got is on the check in date the hotel provided the duplicated room with another guest. However, the front office staff took immediate action to find the new room for me. Overall is good.

The apartment we had was a good size but not exactly how it showed on the photos. The sofa was an outdoor wicker sofa so it could have been more comfortable and some of the bedroom furniture needed replacing. No shower curtain in our bathroom but the cost was low and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Took a few days to find our way around Laguna but really enjoyed it and will definitely be back

This is the last trip of this trip to Thailand and the last hotel stay. In the hotel that arrived in the evening, the front desk staff did not speak Chinese, but introduced our residence in fluent and simple English, and the location of breakfast and dining. Originally we booked a one-bedroom suite and gave us a free upgrade to the two-story suite. One of the bedrooms, in fact, this room is a three-bedroom suite, locked in two, we only use one. Very very grateful. Especially like this two-story suite, our family of three is enough to be crazy in the house. We sent a welcome liqueur and a hot towel to help us carry our luggage to the room, making people feel very warm and sweet! The next day, it was discovered that the landscape was so beautiful, and the pool area and dining area were beautiful. The breakfast is very rich, there are many choices, in addition to the regular bread salad fruit and cereal, more distinctive like a noodle and powdery, anyway, delicious, very good. Go to Bang Tao Beach for a free shuttle bus to and from the hotel. Ten minutes to the hotel group to collect towels and beach chairs. It is very convenient. Why do you want to take the shuttle bus for 10 minutes? In fact, this ten-minute journey is the hotel villa area of their company. We also came to the experience of the first morning when I thought of the seaside and watched the sunrise for an hour. All the way to the scenery is pleasant, in fact, you can stay at each of their hotels, they are very beautiful! Next time I will choose to live in Angsana Villas! Finally, you must talk about the service. It’s really great. Everyone who is doing whatever is doing is very polite and makes you feel warm!

We are frequent clients of Pavilions since 2016 with interruption during Covid. It is our 5th stay (2-weeks long at Ocean View Villa). We can thus compare performances between before and after the Covid periods. There are significant differences to note: Before Covid, the hotel proposed packages at pricing below what are offered now, like ”Romance Destination” including: * transfer airport-hotel round trip with fresh towels, water and fruits * Food massages * Body massages * Afternoon Tea every day * Candle light diner in room or at Plantation * 20% discount on F&B * 30% discount for spa massage Now (after Covid period) the negative aspects are: * No more breakfast at Alto (Plantation) which was nice because tuned for VIP guests * Breakfast at Firefly are with less choice and mixed with all kind of guests * Waiting time for buggy much longer than before (probably due to lack of personnel) Positive aspects are: * Very positive points for the staff; especially thanks to Matthew and Antony who their kindless and efficiency. * The application for the activities, reservation is an excellent tool making the contact with the hotel very efficiently * Also thanks to the personnel at Firefly and at lobby: always smiling and friendly! * Special appreciation for Mrs Toon who did housekeeping very very well
