In the morning, the ebb tide time is not suitable for diving into the sea. After 2 pm, you can go to the sea. If you can swim a little farther, you can find a lot of sea urchins. It is very fun! This island is really original, quiet and suitable for family vacations! The locals of the hotel are also very kind and warm to the Chinese! The day before check-out will also ask if you need to make an appointment to send the car to the dock. The price is also reasonable! Let ’s talk about the hotel hardware. I really bought Karma. The room for 1,000 yuan a night is very small. There is no toilet. No comb and toothbrush. Go to the front desk to buy a toothbrush. 150 baht. A toothbrush. I can see a lot of geckos eating on the wall outside. We ate two meals left at the two restaurants outside the hotel. The most unacceptable thing is that since there is no alcohol in the outside restaurant, it is said that only the hotel buys alcohol. 7-11 is far from the hotel and did not buy alcohol! The bunk bed is very suitable for families with two children. The slide pool and the children's activity room ocean ball are suitable for parents and children. The hotel is relatively new as a whole and has a good design. The swimming pool in the front area is very quiet and suitable for honeymoon families. The villa is also very good and is the first choice with no budget limit. The only flaw is that the water quality of Yao Ya Island is average. There is no sea and only tidal flats during low tide at 5 or 6 o'clock. From 3 to 4 o'clock in the morning, you can play on the beach and tread water. Just returned after 5 days at this little gem in Thailand. From the moment we arrived we were met by most helpful staff who could not do enough to please. We had a delightful well appointed bungalow within 50m of the sea with uninterrupted views of the sea and islands. Caroline and Mederic were the resort managers with Mederic, trained in Michelin star restaurants, heading up the catering. His expertise certainly showed with a fantastic sunset meal in the Tent up the hill behind the resort that lived up to his Michelin training!! We had trips to the islands in a longtail boat to ourselves with swimming, snorkelling and picnic. In all an excellent holiday that lived upto and beyond our expectations!!

This was our second stay at Thiwson. We stayed at the Deluxe Beach Front Villa ( room # A2) and it is definitely worth the extra money. Amazing view and a jacuzzi. Daily house keeping and really nice but basic breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful and always ready to help if you need anything. The restaurant is really great and cheap. We can’t recommend enough and we will probably be back.

Such a lovely place, such a lovely face! Can see amazing sunrise from the terrace, nice garden, private beach, terrific services, hospitable owner, wonderful 3 days spent there. Will come back again! PS: the hotel owner provides car pickup and delivery services, they make sure your boat has arrived before they leave the dock.

The hotel is a large complex intended for a large (Chinese) clientele. It is very well located with direct access to the beach and close to small restaurants. The rooms are pleasant, clean and well maintained. As the Chinese clientele has not yet returned since Covid, the services are rather average due to a lack of staff who are nevertheless very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is very average and there is no possibility of lunch or dinner although the dining room is huge. Ko Yao Yai being renowned for being wilder than the rest of the islands in the region, it is not surprising that the tourist take-off is late and life seems ”in slow motion”.

We stayed at Cape Kudu 2 nights, and our stay was simply amazing. First of all Koh Yao Noi is way underrated. Loved the island, not extremely crowded and super local. Cape Kudu is simply the hotel to stay, super friendly staff, always willing to help. Additionally, Antoine the GM is also super friendly. The pool area is amazing, as well as the restaurant. The breakfast was insane! This is one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Amazing price-quality relationship. They organised a tour in long tail boat for us and was perfect. If I knew earlier, I would have stayed here longer and avoided other “hyped” places like Phi Phi.
