We stayed in Radisson kamala for 4 nights in Jan 2025. We were 4 adults and 4 kids. To start with, i booked 2 rooms and requested in advance asking for rooms next to each other. Upon checkin, I was told your request can't be accommodated as the resort is fully booked. No efforts were made to adjust or provide any resolution even after a day or two of stay. We had little kids who wanted to spend time together and not run up and down the stairs.
Nxt thing the bell boy is giving us looks and shaking his head in displeasure when asked to carry luggage separately as 2 different floors were allocated.
Poor customer service, guests ridiculed, and laughed upon.
Rooms was quite shabby, flooring coming off, door lock was broken. Safe decided to show error mode on checkout. 2 different techs came to fix it wasting half n hour.
Pool needed repairs.
Breakfast, gym and kids club were good. Staff was a hit and miss. Overall stay wasn't pleasant due to lack of care from the management team.
Would not book or recommend this property again.

I was there during Christmas and it was good location close to Kamala beach (but will require you to cross a busy road). Restaurant staff was short and lunch was sad with wait time for one plate of food gone up to about an hour. Same with room service as no one ever picked up the phone.

Room layouts are nice especially when you travel as two families, its easy to socialise with each other, just ask the front desk for rooms to be next to each other, most rooms look over the pool. 10 min walk to Fantasea . Rather eat dinner at Hotel than the buffet at Fantasea.

The only 1 star is for the location being across from Kamala beach. From staff at reception during arrival to checkout they need training on how to handle customers at 5 stars. The facility needs to be shut down for 3 months and renovate otherwise the reviews are true and never book again. The breakfast runs out every days by 9am and worst ever you can imagine at any 5 stars. Drop the rating to 2 stars.

Semi old hotel but clean environment and helpful staff. There was power outage for 5-10 minutes during my stay. Otherwise was a decent experience.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Our daughter loved the pool and loved playing in the 'Kids World'. The facilities are excellent, for example there is a good-sized gym with plenty of equipment, and a restaurant with lots of choice. The breakfast is delicious.
I would strongly recommend this hotel. It is also only a short walk away from the beach.
In the interest of balance, I would just like to mention a few things that could be improved upon.
1. The room did not look like the advertisement photos on the booking website. The staff were very helpful and added some things to make it a closer resemblance. However, the photo of the one bedroom family suite shows lots of toys and extra items in the room that are in fact not included. There is a bunk bed and a kids tent.
2. The local area is quite expensive. Due to there being no 7 eleven nearby and the northern part of Kamala being quite relaxed, the prices of things in the local shops are pretty high. I would advise to get a ride to the nearest 7 eleven as soon as you arrive and stock up on supplies!
These 2 things are small in comparison to the great things this hotel has to offer. We had an amazing time. We want to thank the staff for a lovely holiday!
