We went to the front desk and asked to change the room, to which we were told that there were no rooms available.. Then we asked for a refund, which, after communicating with the management, the hotel seemed to agree
BUT: since we booked through trip.com, and they through *******, the pulling of the blanket began. Trip.com support service was in touch, but there was no direct communication with the hotel, which really slowed down the process. The hotel agreed to return the entire amount, but did not confirm this information in communication with *******. We called the hotel and wrote to WhatsApp, but in the end we only received compensation for 1/3 of the total amount
We were lucky that we found another hotel nearby, but during the high season everything in the center of Patong was booked
I do not recommend this hotel unless you want to ruin your holiday!
