The location is really nice, very close to the beach and a bunch of cafes. Clean, spacious room. There were some issues with the water upon checking in, but they've been resolved quickly. My overall stay there has been great. A couple of drawbacks: the aircon seems too powerful for the size of the room and it's not really possible to direct it away from the bed. The water pressure is unstable - going from very strong to weak repeatedly, which in turn makes the shower temperature unstable too.

This is a rubbish hotel. It's my last day in Phuket. I won't check in without a 2000 baht deposit. Deposits in other currencies are not acceptable either. The owner is very determined. He won't let me check in or refund. It's useless to communicate with the Ctrip staff. I wasted 500 baht. Don't book this hotel. They even sent me a text message asking me to give a good review.
The surrounding environment is very poor. You have to walk on the gravel road to enter the hotel. You can't drag your suitcase at all. There is a boxing gym on the first floor of the hotel that starts boxing at 7:00 in the morning. The music and noise are so loud.
Don't book this hotel. Whoever books this hotel will be unlucky. Whoever books this hotel will end up on the street. I don't think it's cheap. I didn't expect it to be this rubbish.
The original itinerary was delayed because the hotel didn't let me check in. All the time was wasted on communication.
In short, don't book this hotel. Chinese people don't cheat Chinese people.

The aircon was fantastic, bed comfy, room clean and balcony overlooking the sea. Fridge was a great size and had an ice box. Unfortunately the shower was lukewarm at best; when it worked. There were 2 out of the three evenings (approx 4 hours each time) when there was no water, therefore no shower/ toilet flush/ hand wash. Probably a local problem rather than the accommodation? Music from local bars could be heard in the room until about midnight. Be aware that although the beach looks great it’s not recommended for swimming due to the number of boat trips from there, hence no facilities such as umbrellas/ loungers. Accommodation was good (overlooking the water issue), location not so much.
