The pool is pretty great if you can get it without a hoard of screaming children. The food was mediocre at best. I'm sure in the early 90s this was the spot but it just feels super dated at this point. There is construction going on, so maybe they're going to update it. Someone was painting the ceiling by the pool and there wasn't any warning so I got white paint dropped on my hat and shirt. That was disappointing. The room control box for the lights and AC is something from 1980. I feel stupid but it took me two days to figure out how to use all the lights. The bed was the firmest possible. The worst part was the roaches in the room. They just appear from nowhere.

We have stayed at many hotels in Phuket over the past year, but I can confidently say that the staff at Baumanburi Hotel are the best. They were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We were given a wonderful room with a beautiful view of the pool. The room, as well as the entire hotel area, was exceptionally clean. The pool area had a great atmosphere—relaxing during the day with music and beautifully lit in the evening. The location of the hotel is also perfect—just a 5-minute walk to Patong Beach. My family absolutely loved the hotel, and we truly enjoyed our stay. A big thank you to all the staff for their warm hospitality!

This hotel is so loud, because there’s a square beside where local music band party all night until 2am,…… and bad taste music for sure..
Anyway. I feel bad for what we have paid for . 260$ for one night…..
And stuff can’t do anything about it. We are here for new year too!
I don’t recommend this hotel :((((((( for owing me a proper sleep.
