We had a great 10 day stay at Cacoon Islanda Hotel. It is very conveniently located; in easy walking distance to beach, Jungceylon shopping centre and Bangla Road. Toi, at the reception, was very speedy and efficient when checking us in and even offered us an upgrade. We had a spacious room with balcony, blackout curtains, fridge TV and well functioning ac. Bedding and towels were clean and well presented. Bathroom had shampoo and soap and plenty of hot water. The hotel is off the main road so quite quiet by most hotel standards. negative was the tatty carpets in the stairwell…. But we don’t sleep there so didn’t affect us.
We had a pleasant stay in Cacoon hotel; great value for money with helpful staff.

Bed is too uncomfortable and cleanliness is ZERO. The toilet doesn’t look like a photo. Bed sheets are 🤮

The location was great, right in the middle of everything. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. Everyone in the hotel is friendly. A good choice for a budget friendly hotel.
