We didn’t expect the hotel to have two separate buildings for the lobby and guest rooms, which was quite inconvenient, especially with stairs involved and during the rainy season. We booked two rooms, but one of them had an overpowering lemongrass scent, we thought it was temporary, but no! The WiFi was down on the first night, and we also faced issues with the shower temperature—although it was fixed the next day, the overall experience was still somewhat disappointing. The room itself was nice, but mosquitoes appeared whenever we opened the balcony. Breakfast was average with limited options. We also didn’t appreciate being pressured by the service crew to leave a review and take a photo as proof, even though they offered an extra dessert.

Excellent hotel, in a nice location which is not too busy! Perfect for a getaway.

However, I recommend renting a car if you plan to stay. Service: 9.5/10 – Smiles are everywhere in the hotel, which is the most important aspect. All staff are very helpful and proactive, especially when traveling with a 4-year-old. I want to give a special mention to Ms. Mira and Ms. Am in the kids’ zone; they helped take care of our son during the kid activities, allowing us some much-needed "me time." Room: 9.5/10 – The room is very spacious for two adults and one child, and the sea view is excellent for enjoying the sunset. Environment: 8/10 – The lobby features a stunning sea view, which surprised us upon check-in. The beach is very rocky and dirty (not swim able). So don’t expect to be able to swim in the beachfront hotel Veranda unless you want to swim in the pool. The location is far from town so inconvenient to get food. Some say quiet and peaceful and some would call it boring. Check out somewhere else if you want a happy medium. The maids need to do a better job with cleaning the showers. I’m shocked that this place is under a year old and yet so dirty already. I failed to take photos. The room is spacious but that’s all.

the breakfast juices shall be improved more as the juices can taste like chemical artificial fruits drink. the gym facility is abit short, multitrainer is more suitable for compact gym.
