My recent stay at Blu Pine with my family (with a young child) was a mixed bag of experiences. We booked the tropical room with a living room, anticipating a cozy retreat. However, some aspects left us wishing for more.
The room itself was spacious and tastefully decorated, providing a comfortable haven after a day of exploring. However, the glaring issue was the lack of adequate air conditioning. While the main room had an AC unit, the living room suffered from limited airflow, making it uncomfortable during our stay.
Another downside was the restaurant's ambiance. With no air conditioning, dining there could be uncomfortable, especially during hotter days. Additionally, the provision of only two bottles of water per day felt inadequate, particularly for a family with a child.
Despite these drawbacks, there were several redeeming qualities to our stay. The outdoor playground was a highlight for our little one. The presence of cats roaming around the hotel added a charming touch (for cat person) delighting both children and adults alike.
Moreover, the staff members were consistently friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, which significantly enhanced our experience. Their warm hospitality made us feel welcome and attended to, despite the minor inconveniences we encountered.

Pleasant stay, hotel os in prime location, main market in near by. Room was big, clean and ambience was good.
I don’t see any issues during our stay.
Don’t expect much for breakfast if you are vegetarian. If you are renting car or bike property has enough space for parking.
If you are looking for good Indian restaurant, there is a restaurant opposite to the resort where you can get pretty good indian food.

We arrived to a typically beautiful Thai welcome. Although our room wasn’t ready, we were able to use the pool.
The rooms were comfortable and roomy and the bed was comfortable. Only slight disappointment was the shower was very slippery with no shower/bath mat.
The breakfasts were plentiful with a small but decent selection. We ate at the pool bar a couple of times and the food was very good and very reasonably priced.
Overall I felt this hotel was very good value for money, but not a great location, but they offered a free shuttle 4 times a day into Kata.

The kettle not function.
1) Called reception to get electrician to fix the issue. The electrician came to adjust the wiring then left. After that I tried to boil water. Once "On" the kettle, there is electric spark non stop at bottom of kettle.
2) Called again to receptionist. The electrician exchange 1 used kettle. Try again on the kettle. The kettle cannot "On".
3) Called again to receptionist. A tall guy come and claimed himself is a night shift security. Shout on me and my wife. He shout "What is your problem?" "Do not complaint again". "Technician went back already".
4) I ask the security to check himself. He tested the kettle, the kettle cannot "on" due to switch button malfunction. He come out with idea and ask me to press the switch button manually or use spoon/cup to hold the "on" button until the water is boiled. He said this is engineering.............. Then he left. (this is safe way t o use kettle?)
5) Called again to receptionist, a girl name Gaga apologized to me and hand a new kettle to me.
Complaint to electrician and night shift security. Totally non-professional. As a tourist come to Phuket to enjoy and expect good service/facility from your hotel.
Compliment to Receptionist Gaga. Very polite and helpful.

The rooms are very average and location is a walk. 10min. Staff however are very rude. We encountered a few experiences and one making me cry. Very rude and defensive and the gentleman who helps sort the bike hire out I found giving us dirty nasty looks. The worst experience I’ve had during many stays in Thailand. Please save your money and book else where, unfortunately they don’t appreciate the he custom. Also being on her phone during a foot massage
