Mercury Phu Quoc Resort & Villas

Long Beach
Everything was perfect while we stayed. We ended up staying in the Executive Villa beachfront with a private pool. The rooms are enormous, the beds are extremely comfortable and the mosquito net works perfectly. This is possibly the best resort (with beach and private pool option) I have ever stayed in and will definitely only be staying in this resort when I return for another vacation to Phu Quoc. For the complete breakdown of our experience: Rooms: The rooms are insulated perfectly and are sprayed by a pest control company regularly. We did not even see a single ant in the room in our 9 days stay. The bedding and pillows are so comfortable you don't want to wake up in the morning. The only thing forcing you out of bed is the the crystal clear beach waters and the breakfast cut off time. Please Note that you are provided with 2 complimentary bottles of water daily. but you will be charged for for the 2 small bottles in the bathroom and 2 big ones if you consume them daily. We only ended up paying around 5 USD total for the addition bottles we consumed daily after 9 days which is nothing to really nothing to complain about. Staff: Every single person we dealt with were beyond kind, helpful and amazing. THE KEY PERSON who made our stay so comfortable and one to remember is Mr. Sean Maher (Guest Relations Manager). This gentleman checked on us everyday to see if everything is fine and took time from his busy day to chat with us and give us tips and recommendations on what we can do on the island. Dealing with someone like Mr. Sean is 80% the reason guests would decide to come back to the resort. Outstanding service. All the reception area staff were always so helpful and kind and always smiling. The names that come to mind as we dealt with them on many occations is Tam & Lam from reception. Also Katrina was always there with a smile before we left in the morning and when we came back at night. Food: We only tried dinner twice and it was very very good and excellent prices. Breakfast had a lot of variety. Omelet bar was our fave. Spa: You cannot miss the Spa. Its extremely affordable at around 18 USD for an Aroma Message. Hands down the best massage I have ever received ever. Ask for Lan, Lai & Loi. We tried them three and they were amazing. Also try the Hot Stone (Volcanic) 90 minute massage which is for 30 USD and the best way to end you holiday.

Long Beach
Located in the middle of Phu Quoc Island, it takes about the same amount of time to get to the two major scenic spots in the south and north. There are many Vietnamese specialties and souvenirs nearby, but the hotel facilities are very old and not worth the four-diamond price. The only thing is that it is cost-effective
The Palmy Phu Quoc Resort & Spa

Long Beach
The hotel is difficult to find because it is a road through garbage and re-construction. Not a nice place to walk after dinner in the main street, after dark. It says four stars, but this is not reality! The bar on the photo does not exists, the gym has a few, old machines with rust, the pool board and soccer game were rusty, wifi-connection bad and our key cards worked once, then we had to go back to the reception to have them activated again. The worst thing was the noises. When we were in the room, we heard what they said in the rooms next door. In the morning, I woke up 05:15 by an alarm clock in another room on the floor. The reception desk was without service sometimes, so I insisted to have my passport back, not to be kept there, without security. The hotel is located on the beach, but there are now places to sunbath or take a bath. You have to walk to the hotels near by and pay for a sunbed there. No one working there can speak English, so used google translate on the phone. The only positive thing was the balcony with sea view...
Amarin Resort & Spa Phu Quoc

Long Beach
Amarin is a 4 stars hotel, just been renovated recently. It has a swimming pool next to the Truong Beach (Long Beach), surrounded by coconut trees. Sea view room is nice, clean with various amenities, slippers, normal bathrobes, special-tropical bathrobes (for sleeping and go swimming!), shopping platic bag, umbrella... we spent balcony for late night drinks and listen to the sound of the sea. The staffs of Amarin are nice, useful and very friendly. They make our trip and staying more enjoyable! Food and drink are okie. We love buffet breakfast with many kind of tropical juice and fruits. The hotel is not very far from Phu Quoc night market, local shopping centers (travel by Vin bus, taxi or renting a motorcycle...). In the morning, we ran along the beach (1km or more) in front of the hotel; in the afternoon we have had dinner in the restaurant (in order to see the sunset).  We will come back Amarin again! One more thing: If I were the owner, I will make the sunset bar and the private beach more beautiful: move the very big  wooden chairs at the lobby to a suitable place!!
JM Boutique Hotel

The hotel is located next to the sea, 2 minutes and you are on the cleanest beach. The room is clean, cleaned every day, good cosmetics, has everything you need, as well as beach towels, beach slippers and a beach bag. The girls at the reception are very polite and speak good English. Nearby there are small supermarkets, a couple of cafes, 25 minutes walk to sanset town. Breakfast was a buffet, we stayed in May - the hotel was not very busy (apparently it was not the season), it was prepared according to the menu. The highlight of the hotel is their dog) PS: hot water was barely warm Be prepared for the fact that you will be sunbathing under palm trees on public territory; you will be politely asked from the area in front of the hotels
Sunset Beach Resort and Spa

Long Beach
Lovely. We chose the panoramic ocean view room and it was awesome. I booked 2 rooms and I was able to use the middle door to move between each with ease. The sunrise and sunset could be seen from the rooms and or on the balcony. The hotel room and public spaces were clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. They even helped us to book tours while there. The food was good and the menu changed every day. They have a restaurant and bar that has fire shows at nights and it’s fun to watch. I would definitely recommend.
