This hotel would have been grand in its hey day but is now quite tired. The front desk staff were to be commended, especially Ha, cleaning and kitchen staff were also pleasant. The room is older as expected and had an obstructed of the sea with lots of palm trees out the front. There was a very decent size pool, graduating up to 2.0m in depth. The biggest issue for me was the weak wifi which was very intermittent. Maintenance needed was evident everywhere from walls that needed a paint, broken tiles around the pool, the shower overflowing every time it was used etc. Also although you get sea views there is no beach, and there is no spa so the hotel name is a bit of a misnomer. Breakfast was included and was reasonable and varied. The free buses No 17 and 19 stop outside the door which is a bonus. You can get the free bus from the airport and it travels through to Grandworld and then onto the beach. A reasonable option if you are on a budget, but there may be better options.

Most horrible and pathetic hotel ever. There were cockroaches in the room, smelly room and stuffy washrooms We literally had to change our hotel and leave the next day. Do not ever go to this hotel.

The hotel is in a great location at the 1 end of long Beach, within walking distance of both the town, night market and beach with various beach bars and restaurants.
It has a lovely swimming pool overlooking the sea with loungers to relax on. We found the breakfast and serving staff to be fantastic.
The hotel itself seems as if it was grand in its day, but is now showing signs of wear and lack of maintenance in some areas. We had mixed experience with service, the breakfast restaurant was great, but other service like the pool wasn't as great. There never were clean towels when we used the pool, just a pile of dirty ones, nor service. The reception staff were mostly friendly and helpful, but not all. Some could speak English, but there was a lack of understanding, which led to mis-communication when trying to get service.
We enjoyed our time at the hotel regardless and would recommend it.
