New World Phu Quoc Resort

Located in the south of Phu Quoc Island, the hotel provides convenient access to attractions and transportation. Guests appreciate the rich breakfast, superior pool villas, and excellent English-speaking staff.

Overall, it’s an overrated resort. If you look for a resort which provides an exceptional experience, I would not recommend to stay there. At first, I was attracted by the advisement and the brand New World and it looked quite luxurious. However, my communication experience for pre-arrival and the experience during my stay made this so called 5 stars resort questionable. 1. Before coming to Phu Quoc, I was asking the guest relation to set up the kids amenities but nothing happened 2. I was also asking if a birthday cake can be arranged for my family but nothing happened 3. I was asking if the private pick up car can be arranged as my flight got delayed 2 hours and couldn’t catch the shuttle. You know what nothing happened 4. Ordered a local grill chicken for in room dining but it was not fully cooked 5. I and my family have been dropped off at the middle of the road because another guest was angry at the driver why she got the last stop 6. No smile for all staffs 7. No intention to follow up after I told the above issues to the reception when I was checking out The only good things at the resort are the kids club and new kids swimming zone. I am bit disappointed to the services as I was expecting too much.

The room is lack of maintenance. Location is great and the restaurant inside is tasty. staffs are friendly and helpful.  The swimming pools are perfect for kids.
