I recently booked 3 rooms for a 5-day, 4-night stay at VINHOLIDAY FIESTA HOTEL for a family trip via Trip.com. I had hoped to book a mix of room types—one with a king bed and two with twin beds—since both room types were the same price. Unfortunately, the booking system wouldn't allow me to do this. In the end, I could only secure 3 rooms with king beds.
Given that I was traveling with 4 elderly family members, all over 70 years old, I immediately reached out to the hotel to request a change to the room types. However, I was disappointed to find that the hotel flatly rejected my request without any flexibility or consideration.
When we arrived, there were no welcome drinks, which was unexpected and disappointing. The staff at the reception also didn't seem very welcoming, and the overall vibe was not as warm as we anticipated. Their rigid approach to customer service, especially with my special request for my elderly family members, left me feeling very stressed and anxious ahead of our trip.
This experience, unfortunately, impacted the overall impression of the hotel. I hope the management will take feedback seriously and work on improving both the service and the welcoming atmosphere, particularly for guests with specific needs.
