11:11 Hostel

Ayutthaya Riverside
11:11 is a great hostel to stay at when in Ayutthaya. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They provide you with breakfast which includes hot drinks, bread (toaster available), fruit, cereal and a freshly baked hand made cake that the owners make the night before. Good location right on the river and only 10 mins from the town centre in a vehicle. We stayed two nights, the rooms were very clean and well maintained bathrooms. The mattresses are quite firm however. I would recommend to anyone to stay there.
Sala Ayutthaya

Behind the wall there is a hidden oasis. This is a perfect hotel with amazing architecture and the best outlook. Room 4 and 6 have a great view over the river to the temple. The bar upstairs is very relaxing and great selection of cocktails. The cheesecake is so special. Breakfast or diner on the terrace just watching the river and the world go by is very relaxing. I love the little lounge nook with the pillows, just ideal for reading or surfing or snoozing. Staff service was perfect. I will be back.
Pludhaya Resort & Spa
4.1/510 Reviews
We stayed at the resort in one of the pool villas for an extended weekend. The villas are spacious and very nicely decorated, each in its own style. Ours had its balcony toward East, atop of the fish pond, which made a wonderful setup for a morning coffee (espresso machine dolce gusto in the room!). Some of the pool villas have an outdoor shower (private/closed of course) - you would have to ask for a room with it. The staff was super super helpful and friendly, assisting us in whatever we required. The restaurant with its open terrace is a wonderful setting for breakfast (bacon / ham and eggs, sausages, toast, marmalade, or Thai breakfast if you want) as well as for dinner. Food quality / taste was amazing. The whole setup is tranquil, the trees amazing (next to our villa was one in full blossom, inviting dozens of dozens of butterflies swarming up and down). Next to the restaurant there is a very cozy area with tables, chairs, benches and a swing under the tall trees. The spa was unfortunately closed during our stay but it would be reopened soon. Whenever we will come back to Ayutthaya, we will stay at Pludhaya again - next time we will opt for the suite version, on the other side of the resort, overlooking the fields. The setup is amazing but the hospitality of the team there made our stay truly enjoyable!
Athithara Homestay

Ayutthaya Riverside
I really wanted to say I loved this place. The couple running the ”homestay” was really sweet and their daughter, who managed their emails, was also helpful. However, there were some issues that marred the experience for me. Firstly, the place was marketed as a homestay, though I think it would be more appropriate to say it's guesthouses on a residential compound. I was also under the impression that I would be given a room in a standalone building like the ones they posted online but was instead given a basic room in a row of three. Secondly, I arranged for a guide through the homestay and only learned from the guide when he arrived that it did not include a driver and transportation. I then paid more for the driver and car. I think this could have been made more transparent from the start. Lastly, and most importantly, the bathroom was a challenge. I don't want to go into details because some guests may have no issues, but I've uploaded some pictures, and you can decide on your own. For me, I found something unpleasant on the floor after I came back from dinner on the second day, and decided there and then I would cut short my stay.
The Sixty at Ayutthaya

Ayutthaya Riverside
If you can accept: 1. Dirty 2. Voltage instability and no hot water 3. Be bitten by many mosquitoes (mosquito sprayed, the water is still not immune) 4. No staff service 5. Air conditioning can not adjust the temperature 6. Poor sound insulation 7. Managers respond slowly and dishonest You can try booking. As a family of three who live in Thailand, this price has a lot of choices. I booked a deluxe room for two nights. I really can't live anymore. I checked out the next morning. They didn't apologize and won't refund the money. It's okay, this is a progressive era. Solid pace will be eliminated. More and more excellent accommodations in Dachengfu are recommended to explore carefully, especially for families traveling with children I have visited the sixty ayuttaya resort 4 times. But it's getting worse.Pictures speak louder than words. dirty, no service, Voltage instability , A lot of mosquitoes, A homestay without progress.Worst experience!
