We stayed here for a night on our drive from Phuket up to Bangkok. The hotel dates back to the 90s and it is in surprisingly good shape - in fact is is extremely well maintained - almost in ‘new’ shape. Front desk was professional, the room and its furniture/amenities comfortable and clean. The hotel restaurant offers a good range of food options at reasonable prices. The hotel location is perfect if you want to get away from it all. We will be back for sure

We drove from Surat Thani to Bangkok. We stayed in a classy room for one night at Coral Resort. The resort is beachfront. The beach is long. The sunrise was beautiful. We had dinner at the resort restaurant. The fish dish and the pork soup were delicious. The resort is beautiful. The pool is good. The breakfast was acceptable.

Idyllic place: calm, charm, feet in the water of the swimming pool or the beach. We hear the waves from our deckchairs. In full board formula with attentive staff who speak French and who delighted our taste buds. We enjoyed the Thai evening or the barbecue by the sea. The children appreciated the wifi connection in the rooms. The comfortable rooms are in bungalows. No wonder this place has so many regulars. We feel really good there.

Thanks to Etic and all his team for their kindness and their availability. Thank you to the cooks who knew how to prepare delicious dishes for us for two weeks. The cottages are very comfortable and well equipped.....in short, everything is perfect and we will come back to them. However paradise is deserved because the Coral is 6 hours by van from Bangkok ..... but it's worth it

Coral is lost in the middle of nowhere, superb place very well maintained with adorable staff, always smiling whether it is the gardeners, the housekeeping staff, the catering, the reception and the excursions. All led by Eric the director, charming, available and always ready to listen to you. The rooms are large, very well maintained, quiet. The Thai catering is of quality and diversified, no duplication except for the B.B.Q, the fondue evening and the evening at the panoramic restaurant. The excursion guides are from the region and know their job perfectly in addition to being friendly. In short, a parenthesis out of time, you will be the only tourists at the Bang Saphan market, free shuttle every morning.

Room (17) rather small and getting old. Mattresses very hard and rather old (dent in the middle), bathrooms unacceptable for foreign tourists. Renovation would be urgently appropriate. Nice garden and pool area - breakfast for us foreigners was rather minimalistic but good. Room price massively inflated for the current time. The best thing was the location by the sea - beautiful
