I stayed in the hotel and I found my car could not be started. I asked the Front desk gentle*** for help, and he was really nice to help me to call the Roadside service. Meanwhile, he informed the duty ***ager to help me. The duty ***ager took my key and went to the car. and He helped me to start the car. I had the hand brake on , so the car could not auto start, so this time I was learning. and thanks for the hotel kind help

We booked this hotel in a hurry from the plane on a connecting flight. We were just spending the night and finishing our travel the next day. We checked in at 11 at night, after a long day of travelling. Patrick at the front desk was super helpful and was pleasant to check in with. The room was clean, quiet and more then met our expectations. The free breakfast was great! Everything you could ask for, the area was clean and well looked after and everything was stocked up and available, even at 830. Overall just an excellent experience. One point, is there no shuttle. Call the hotel and they will arrange a Lyft to pick you up and take you back to the airport for you for free

Staying at Hampton you expect a level of consistency. This one missed the mark. We had that with our room. But not the breakfast..which was a bit of a disaster ..both days we were there The room was huge. We had a king which left a large area for the pull out couch, table, desk etc. Plenty of room to put our bags and stuff. Desk, and night stands, had plenty of plugs, USB outlets etc to charge everything. Another family member had one of the double queen rooms and said the room needed a makeover. From other reviews and some workers we saw, it looked like they were still working on renovations in some parts of the hotel. Wifi worked ok, but its rather irksome that today you get a slow speed from a hotel and have to pay more for a high speed that everyone else offers for free as the normal, only, wifi. I only use it to remote into my office, surf the web and collect emails, but it was still rather slow even for that ( I would get a lag on my remote connections which I don’t almost everywhere else …in the world!). There was a mini fridge and micro, but wish they had a laptop safe. The breakfast however was not up to what one normally expects from a Hampton. The breakfast bar is one of the main reasons to pick a Hampton over some other chains. Not so much that its included in the price (which is nice) but for most people it’s a convenient way to get breakfast quickly before rushing off to a meeting or whatever and not having to hassle to find a restaurant and spend an hour etc. First the buffet area is a really small area. Especially for the size of the hotel. We were there on a weekend, and it did not seem that the hotel was that full…based on the people we saw and the parking area was not half full. Still, people were lined up waiting to get food, tripping over each other to get food as its really tight, and worst of all….half the food was gone, regular coffee empty ..with no attendant checking or refilling for quite some time. We got to the buffet around 9 am (still another hour before it closed) to find the regular coffee empty, the muffins gone and empty, 3 tater tots remaining in the tray, something shriveled up that looked that it might be a sausage, an egg and ham mush with one spoonful left, the oatmeal down to scrapping the sides of the container, the waffle batter almost empty, the syrup gone …and no attendant to be found. After waiting 15 minutes for someone to refill things, we yelled into the side room and someone came out …and slowly refilled things…over the next 15 min or so. And the oatmeal, which my wife was waiting for, was more like soup. The oatmeal was not fully cooked . Probably over time it would absorb the water…but who has time to wait…after already waiting a half hour. breakfast at these buffets should not even take a half hour. I thought this might have been a fluke the first day, but similar experience the next morning too. The hotel has to have enough staff to handle the breakfast bar, a

Stayed for work for a few days, so did not pay out of my own pocket so I cannot talk to value for money. Got a very large room with fridge and microwave, as well as a single cup coffee maker. The room was clean and had a big desk as well as a couch and coffee table. The bed was comfy. The A/C worked well. The bathroom was clean and had nice towels, as well as shampoo etc. Even with a great number of student athletes first thing in the morning, there was plenty of breakfast for everybody, including hot and cold and many options. Coffee available all day. The free WiFi was great and allowed streaming. Linen and cleaning service daily. Can't think of any improvements. Good location off the interstate on north side of Phoenix in walking distance to a variety of restaurant and shops, including a large WalMart with groceries. Staff was friendly and helpful. Did not use pool, but noticed a number of other guests did.

Spent one night here. Came to Phoenix to see a Diamondbacks baseball game. Staff was super accommodating. They got us into our room early! The location was perfect! Although the valet parking was pricey, we never had to drive or look for parking downtown. We were able to walk everywhere: to lunch at the Kettle Black restaurant, to a coffee shop, to CVS and even to the BB game. We took advantage of using the Lime scooters and got exercise walking. On our downtime, we relished how comfortable the bed and room was. Except for a microwave in the room (they had one in the lobby) we had all the amenities we needed. Loved the sun blocking blinds! The breakfast was in keeping with the Hampton Inn’s reputation for a hot meal with good variety of foods. They did not have a pool (Phoenix is soooo hot and I would have welcomed it but knew it going in) but had a fitness center. The area had some homeless people around but we never felt unsafe. Well lit on the streets at night. For a large city, it was uncrowded. All in all, great place!
