Hotels near Lyla Sports Center in Phnom Penh

Very nice hotel and beautiful view. Recommend for booking this hotel. It's not far from Phnom Penh airport

going back to this city after 26 years is quite exciting so I chose a hotel near the city center. I booked City Centre Hotel via booking.com. I requested for airport pick up but no one picked me up even if I agreed with their taxi cost of 15 USD. I needed a taxi because I am going to an important meeting that same day. After my meeting, a friend dropped me off at the hotel and I found out that the hotel is located in a very busy street near bars and shops. Anyhow, I already booked. The reception told me to pay extra amount which I just paid because it is already around 8 pm and I needed to sleep. The room is very small with no exhaust and windows can not be opened. The pillow cases were stained and somewhat smelly. Breakfast is good and staff are friendly and helpful which made it better even if the hotel is not that great. After walking around the area, I found out that there are better options within that vicinity. So next time I will tray another hotel.

An unfortunate experience, I found myself in the worst situation dealing with M Residence, as on the day of my check-in, the Sale Manager Vincent neglected to inform the receptionist about my booking, and instead of booking online for a fair rate, they wanted to charge me 50 USD per night, when it was only 24 USD online. Because the receptionist was new and unfamiliar with the process, she had to validate each step with her manager. It took me 45 minutes to check-in. The whole thing felt sketchy because I had to pay 130 USD with tax instead of 72 USD online with Airbnb small tax it would have cost max 86 USD if I recall. Anyway, I paid and received a very small room with hardly working air conditioning and filthy elevator. The swimming pool was breaking apart, and it appeared that the structure was inadequately maintained. There was no pool attendant, and no PH and CL analysis of the chemicals in the pool was available. The entire establishment is a shambles, and they definitely lack hospitality skills. Anyway I shared some information about my experience with the Manager who told me “The staff are so bad” I wanted to react and tell him that he should invest in training them but I could see there was no point in telling him has he clearly do not hold any sense of hospitality skills… The day before my departure I contact the “Receptionist Supervisor” and asked if I should do my check out now to collect my deposit back as I leave at 5:50 am and she informed to not to worry there is 24/7 staff at the lobby. Of course, the day of my check out there was no staff at the lobby to proceed my check-out so now they are ghosting me over 30 USD refund. In addition to all of this I intended to do a collaboration with the Sales manager upon my arrival a discount or free stay over some pictures which they gladly receive but never gave me proper feedback nor a compensation. M Residence is a disgrace to the hospitality industry in Cambodia. Their unethical practices and scams are not the way to conduct business.

Extremely friendly staff, modern interior design with a twist of Cambodia, nice panoramic view of the city on the rooftop. The rooftop bar was top notch, missing their signature cocktails already, even 10% discount for the guests. Though, the pool was kinda meh, small and right beside the tables, better just remove it, and the AC in our room was not working properly at all. It was keep getting shut off every hour or so, without any timer or smth. They told me they'd check but it had no difference, kept waking up in the middle of the night to turn it on. Other than that, great deal for the bucks.

We were traveling in a group, we had 8 rooms booked more than a month in advance, we arrived late because our flight was deviated due to bad weather, we contacted them to notify them about it and they replied with an ok. At 2:30-3 am that we arrived they told us that there were mo rooms available. The guy in the front desk had a really terrible attitude even saying that it was not his problem, and also telling us he couldn’t find our bookings. After a while the manager came and he did find all our bookings, and he managed to help us get the first night in a neighbor hotel (which given the circumstances we had no other choice).

Good location near Central market, Sorya bus station and shopping mall, about 15 mins walk from the Riverside and Royal palace, reasonable size room with lift, personally suit for my purpose and budget, will stay again

As usual HM Grand Hotel, one of my favourite hotels in Phnom Penh. This time they were offering some discounts because they had some maintenance in some floors. I got a great service, room, jacuzzi and a 30 mins FREE massage 💆as a Additional Gift. 🎁 Very safistied!

Lovely hotel, in an up and coming neighbourhood so not too much to do around aside from malls. The gym was the most spacious out of any Citadines I’ve been to and a huge plus point !

I stayed here for x3 nights at the beginning of December 2022, I found this hotel was a very good value for money, I had a Deluxe Double room with window on the top floor, the room itself was very large and spacious, the bed in my opinion was a queen size bed, aircon was quiet and worked well. The bathroom was small but had enough space to do what was needed and the shower was very impressive, nice warm water with high water pressure and a massive shower head. The bed was comfy to sleep in. The bar downstairs was very reasonably priced and all the staff were very friendly. The hotel wasn't in the main area of all the bars however this wasn't a problem as there were still plenty of street food markets within walking distance and I also enjoyed the walk up to the river side of an evening. I would definitely stay here again. I didn't have time to use the pool myself however there were plenty of guests which did and looked like there were plenty of loungers available to use throughout the day. It would be great if free bottles of water were provided in the rooms every day though and they didn't charge to top your water bottle up.

location is exceptional right in ******************. Room is clean and have everything necessary even have a room safe . The rooftop bar and infinity pool add the perfection of the hotel Staff at the hotel was kind and friendly Will Highly recommend this hotel to those who plan to have a good time
