Hotels in Doun Penh, Phnom Penh

Booked a room for higher price just for the window and I just got the window with blocked view. After checking first time I didn't even try to open the window once. :( I love watching cities from the windows clicking pictures but this room failed. The girl at the front desk was kind even I reached early she tried to give me other rooms but still I want the room with windows. The rooms is bigger in size but it looks like you are sleeping in big hall as the room was just have 1 bed and 1 chair in it. It should be good if they cam add a sofa or some dining table in it. Bathroom is nice well maintained. There is always a smell in the room whenever you swith off the AC. Plus point is it is very near to the Main touristy attractions even I walked to those places easily. There is an old market there, convenient store and you can walk to many cafes and river edge in just 3 minutes. Another thing it's very near to the bus offices if you are going to other cities or even to Vietnam i took a bus from Cambodia to Vietnam and just walked 3 minutes from the hotel. You can book many tours from them and bus tickets as well. You can also rent bike from them

Accommodation is good though it doesn't have cabinet for storing your staff but we just stayed there for 1 night so it doesn't matter. Location is quite near in the city area so you will not spend a lot in transportation.

Beautiful cozy rooms. Kitchen available to order on the rooftop (15th floor). Pool with cool water refreshing at these hell hot days. Pool begins to work a bit late after noticed 9:00, no staff at the morning pool (no one may help you to expand an umbrella, it need special tool) and no bar works morning time (but I could order a coffee with a phone call to reception). Air condition in the room blows right on the bed at any position and I could not turn it off for all the night due it become incredibly hot inside. So waken up several times at night to switch it on and off. Hotel towels are cheap and the bathrobe I did not want to wear. But the shower and water pressure is good, very hot water available. I enjoyed! No European cafe around the hotel. You have to walk to get some.

I have stayed at this hotel several times, the hotel has the best staff, the hotel is close to everything Phnom Penh, Cambodia has to offer. The rooms are spacious and well maintained.

I planned to stay here for one night but extended for two more days because I loved it. In the evening, I felt so lucky to catch the beautiful cloud landscape before the rain. The decoration and river view are stunning, perfect for travelers whos seeking serenity, fresh air, and convenience. Just a twominute walk takes you to the port for a $5 Mekong River cruise, and the night market is only five minutes away. Finding a cockroach-free hotel in Cambodia is tough really. (I guess the whole city needs past control) 😁 I spent four hours researching, and even five star hotels have complaints. When I entered my room, a small cockroach greeted me, but after that, I didn’t see any. The elevators can get busy as they’re shared with condo residents. Most hotels here are like that. You won’t find a better spot in the city! After I extended my stay, I spoke to the manager about the small cockroach, and he paid attention to the issue and sprayed the room. However, housekeeping needs to pay more attention to the toiletries. Conclusion this hotel is a dream spot that surrounded by French colonial buildings. Thats 10/10!!

Conveniently located, close to all actions. Very friendly front desk, nice ac, hot water works great. Comfortable bed, elevator saves legs. Highly recommend the hotel's amok fish! I tried 3-4 from various restaurants, city lodge hotel has the best!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary and New Year at the hotel and had a wonderful time. The service was excellent, the room had a king-size bed with a great view, and the food at Khema was reasonably priced. The steak was cooked perfectly, and we even received a complimentary cake. Thank you, Eye, and the rest of the service personnel who worked during the holidays to make it a memorable experience for all your guests. We will definitely go back.

They put me on the 16th floor near the elevator. On the 17th floor there is a bar-cafe and a swimming pool. The music plays terribly loudly until 23:00, you can hear everything in the room. The Internet does not work very well for the hotel. I had to go down to work on my laptop in the lounge area on the 1st floor. There is a construction site right outside the window where they start rumbling from 6-7 in the morning ((((

Not happy with the room( shoddy ) comes to mind .lift only goes to the 4th floor. 5th floor up steep stairs. My room not very good. TV useless, l have mobility issues, so rely on a good tv and WiFi. Which was OK.
