Very disappointing that they told me my room was without windows. I lost the printed cpoy of my booking and my phone has a flat battery that's why I have no proof of what I booked. I have to argue a bit and later asked how much more for a room with a window. They said $2 a day more.
I said I'll pay later when I come back but didnt specify if I'll pay through Trip.com or directly to them.
When I returned, There was nobody on the reception which looked like an old toll gate booth. I waited till somebody came and told them that the room I booked has windows that has a view of the pagoda. They still insisted that I have to pay the $2 a day extra. Which I now refused to pay and showed them the photo of the double room that I paid for.
The woman was cornered and said: "Ok, you don't have to pay"and rudely left.
The amenities in the room was 1 cup and saucer 2 small bottles of water, 2 very minute soap, 2 toothbrushes and a roll of toilet paper. There were no coffee, tea, and even a water jug. The stairways and verandas were dusty and huge rats were running near the dustbins.
