The Bellevue Hotel

It’s very old, small, and lack of amenities if compared to similar value hotel. The hotel security is not polite. I’m very disappointed during my stay….

Beautiful hotel in great location We had a really nice stay at the Bellevue for a graduation weekend. The hotel is located in a great part of town around wonderful restaurants and it was easy to navigate to other parts of the city. The room was huge and beautiful. The staff was very friendly. The service was okay- we had a few issues like we never got a bottle opener we requested from the front desk to open a soda that was delivered by room service so we needed to use keys to get it open. Room service also took awhile during peak times and in room dining closed before 10pm. But overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.

This was my first stay at the Bellevue. It has been beautifully restored, both the public areas and the lodging rooms. I especially appreciated the Nespresso mini coffee maker and mini-fridge. The hotel is on the block to the north of the Academy of Music, so it was very convenient for my visit to the ballet. Disabled access is less than ideal, but I understand that they are building a ramp entrance near the front of the lobby. For now, you go to the back entrance and use a little lift to get into the back lobby. Several excellent restaurants within a block: Estia (Greek), Le Pain Quotidian, and Tuscany Cafe were my favorites.

This is a georgous place but as of yet it has almost no amenities. It needs another year or two. Also I was put in a room with no outside window. Make sure you ask about that when booking. I was in a big hurry or i woud have changed rooms.

DONT STAY HERE NO COMPASSION NOT SAFE! I was staying there so I could be safe because at home I was not. They cancelled an up coming reservation and would not let me extend my stay because they feared the “safety of their staff”. When NOTHING happened and my outside issues did not come into the establishment. I was actually safe there and they just threw me out to the wolves and had zero compassion for why I was staying there. Spent thousands of dollars to be treated like dirt and made me feel worse about my situation instead of giving me comfort and security of which a hotel should be giving. Nothing happened at the establishment and nothing would have happened because no one knew I was there. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone or anything. Staff at first was welcoming and when they found out I was there because I wasn’t safe at home they kicked me out right back to my outside situation without hesitation. Now I have to find another place to stay. Spend more money. Don’t ever stay here if you want comfort. Plus their back elevator that is supposed to require a key card to operate is able to be used by anyone without a key card. Open for anyone to get on and go to any floor or room in the hotel.
