The hotel is directly connected to the airport, and the rental car is just opposite the hotel, less than 3 minutes across the road. I told the front desk to take an airplane tomorrow, and the luggage room gave me an airport trolley directly, and told me to put the room directly, and check in from the second-floor corridor directly tomorrow. To the city trsin is also directly connected to the second floor of the hotel (the second floor of the hotel is directly connected to the airport and one side is to the city train)

I was deciding between 2 and 3 stars but he bed is comfortable and the gym is nice. Breakfast is your average type. My room was pretty clean minus something blackish on the tub wall. My air conditioner soaked the carpet, my iron did not work and I had no hangers. They did bring me them pretty prompt when I asked. My colleague came in at 9pm and there was some confusion whether she booked 2 rooms. At midnight, someone from the desk called her to ask her if she booked 2 rooms. At Midnight!. Walls seem a little thin as I could hear lots of noise in the hallway and the people walking upstairs. I wouldn't stay again.

We unexpectedly had to fly out of PHL instead of Newark as our flight was canceled last minute. As economy parking is closed permanently at PHL, I wanted to find a cheaper option for parking. We found the Sonesta and we were able to get a hotel room for the night before our flight and also park in their lot for the 8 days we were gone! We easily hopped on the shuttle the morning of our flight and it was about a 3-minute ride to the airport. When we returned, we called the front desk and they sent the shuttle driver to the airport to get us and bring us to our car in their lot. Our car was totally fine and safe in their lot and the process was so easy and took away the stress of parking. I took off one star because there was some intense drag racing going on at 2 am while we slept and also the person next to us was up pretty late talking and we could hear them. However, the room was clean and the bed was comfy. The staff was also very accommodating and nice.

Residence Inn is a reliable brand if you want a more spacious room and if you need a cooking area with a reasonably-sized refrigerator. As an Ambassador-level Marriott member, I have been to many Residence inns, this is a fairly good one. My room was clean and the kitchen was in good shape. The front desk staff were helpful. On the other hand, this hotel badly needs an overhaul. Only one of the two elevators was working. The floor buttons in the lone operating elevator were not working properly. There were chips in the paint and small marks on the furniture in my room. There were other issues. I realize that there is nothing the hotel can do it about this, but when the (free) shuttle from the airport is about to reach the hotel they zip around the back of some buildings where there are piles of industrial supplies and garbage. Does not lead to good first impressions....... Also, the first thing you see when you walk in the hotel's front door is the luggage trolleys, which are clearly worn. Breakfast was OK. The food was fine, nothing special. The staff at the front desk were helpful. I noticed they offered the local newspaper, The Philadelphia Inquirer, for free, which made me smile, as that is not a personal favorite. Overall, a fairly good hotel that needs some refurbishing.

Excellent stay from beginning to end! Property was ideally located right outside the city and adjacent to the University of Penn. I really appreciated the adequate supply of good restaurants and the youthful vibe. Deno at the front desk was professional, personable, affable, knowledgeable and accommodating. I came in earlier than check in time due to a red eye flight that I had taken. He gave me a room that just happened to be cleaned and available. Thanks that allowed me to catch up on a couple hours of sleep which really helped make a difference in my trip👍👍 Breakfast was excellent! I will definitely return and this is from a 13 year former head-waiter at a Ritz Carlton in California who knows what service is about. Great job again for exceeding my expectations!!👍👍👍
