Hotels in Loh Dalum Bay, Phi Phi Islands

Solo female traveler for 7 nights. Small room, large balcony but too hot to sit out and no privacy looking directly into others room. The layout of rooms leave no privacy at all thus even if you have a pool view, everyone keeps the curtain closed and can feels a little claustrophobic. The bed is super super hard (seriously like a thin mattress on the floor) and pillows very hard & high causing body and neck aches. Breakfast is good and very grateful to have freshly ground coffee. Location is convenient for visiting both sides of the beaches. It’s been many years since I booked with Trip and everything is AI generated thus I’m not sure if the hotel ever responded to me. I have been trying to contact the hotel for weeks regarding transfers that they mentioned they offers, but got no response. I have tried messaging through the platform, calling and texting them on WhatsApp and no response beside AI from Trip stating the contact numbers. I started to get seriously concerned if my booking is confirmed. On the morning before I got on the ferry to Phi Phi. I finally found another number on Google and lucky someone answered to arrange pick up from the pier as I have a few luggages that I can’t cope on my own. Shortly after when I am on the ferry to Phi Phi. I received a reply on my WhatsApp that they are too busy to reply. Too busy for weeks. This is not acceptable as it causes me anxiety if my booking has been confirmed. It doesn’t help as most of the messages through the app is from AI! In general, most staff are ok except for whoever is responsible for messaging with the guest.

Anita Resort is under reconstruction. So they blocked the way to the standard rooms block at the northern corner. The borders have to make a detour through the pool and reach to the three storied standard room building. The ground floor of that building is entirely messed up by the removed used materials and living of the workers. Due to the monsoon rain the entire block is covered by the bad smell of decomposed materials. There is insufficient light on the roads to reach to that block, otherwise stopped by cautionary words. The adjacent two storied building is a slum that violated privacy of the borders of the first and second floors of standard rooms block. Requested to change the room, the managerial lady asked compensatory money or asked the borders to leave her hotel. This was a rude proposition for the borders to Phi Phi Island for the first time. There is no telephone in the room and the boarders found none after continuously phoning the manager lady. The receptionist ladies were sober and kind, but not the one who picks up the mobile calls only unseen, she could be manager or the owner, we didn’t know. Yes the break fast was good and the location of the hotel was good too.

Great location, right at the beach and at the center on town. Can go out at night and walk back to hotel no problem And in the day time you walk out and beach is there Loved that they have a quiet pool besides the party one. Great for people who want to relax Is quite loud at night but we got a bungalow that was quiet enough Staff super nice and helpful Definitely will come back

The resort is very big and has multiple different pools and restaurants throughout. There are many activities to enjoy like paddle boarding and kayaking. You can also walk straight onto the beach from the resorts, the beds are comfy, and breakfast was great.

The check in and check out process was easy and smooth, we were charged 1000 baht for deposit. It took about 10 mins walk from the jetty to the hotel. They even have a private beach area which is not as crowded as the other areas in the island. The staff even helped to bring our luggage to the jetty as we had 4 hours to spare before our ferry departure, so we managed to stroll around the island without having to carry our luggage along with us. The staffs are very nice and helpful. The stay and the cleanliness of the room was great considering the cheap rate.

The hotel is beautiful, in front of the ocean, nice rooms (though small), nice restaurant, friendly staff, pool is great too. But acustics are an issue in the hotel, the beautiful bamboo huts are zero sound proof you can hear your neighborgs breathing, and that wouldn’t be so bad if the extra loud cheap trance music from the bars nearby didn’t come in feeling like it’s in your room and accounting for terrible sleep. this was specially worse for me as I had a room with pool/sea view at row 1 and sound just went in there, I asked to change rooms and they did and at row 5  i had a much better sleep. It’s sad because this is not the hotel’s fault but municipality should really do something about the bars, it really messes the entire Phi Phi paradise experience.

We booked 5 houses, but we placed the order in 3 times. Why did we only book 2 rooms at a time? PP CASITA I stayed in 2011 and now I ’m staying in this hotel with my family. This hotel is not upscale but it is a little more upscale on Phi Phi Island. The price is very high. It is because of the beauty of the garden. It has a clean pool and a good cafeteria. In addition to the tap water and the sink, the TV is slow Other than the thick box, everything is fine. Children currently staying at the hotel will be charged an additional 250 per child per night. The front desk is very comfortable, but one of them has a long English and good attitude. But the men who carried the luggage were very caring to make up for the bug at the front desk.

It's a bit far from the ferry pier, making it a little hard to reach, especially if it's your first time visiting. The hotel is okay; it has a homey feel and provides a sense of privacy. However, it could improve in terms of amenities, as there were none provided. At the very least, it would be nice to have slippers available. In my room, the fridge wasn't working, which could be problematic during the summer. Thankfully, I brought my own amenities, so I managed to make do. The bar area is nearby, and you can hear the music, which might be an issue if you're sensitive to sound while trying to sleep. For me, it wasn't a big deal, but it might not be the best choice for everyone.

I liked the hotel, a large room, a huge terrace, not a bad view from it. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to everything on the island. But there are also disadvantages, the shower is located right from the entrance to the bathroom, it flows right onto the floor, there is no curtain, nothing, the toilet and sink are on a wet floor, you have to be very careful not to fall, the first time I flew face down across the entire floor on the tiles, then I got used to it, and it no longer bothered me.
