The photo that promotes this hotel on trip.com features a lake and raft houses on the lake. This is not the reality for this hotel, although it does provide tours that visit this lake, and so initial expectations were not met.
However if you want my review of the actual hotel, here goes. The family run hotel provides a cool place to stay for physically fit guests and people who do not suffer too badly with vertigo. All the rooms are tree houses, reached by narrow walkways through the subforest at different levels. The rooms vary in size and height to suit everyone, from 4m to 15m up in the trees. Central to the complex is a nice outdoor pool. I loved it, but remember in humid tropical locations infrastructure does not last long, so don't get upset if a table collapsed or a handrail comes adrift, there is a guy who fixes everything. Food available all day, home cooked and reasonably priced. The hotel.is only 2km from the park gates so location, location, location.
But definitely no lake!

DDonna Burns116This place is amazing! We booked the 4 day/3night grand jungle and lake package directly with the hotel and then booked an extra night through trip.com. We didn’t want to leave! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, everything so well organised. Lots of activities to choose from e.g canoe trip, night safari, half day hike, cooking class, Thai massage, all picked up and dropped back to the hotel. The accommodation is surrounded by rainforest, you can hear and see monkeys at breakfast, monitor lizards climbing in the tree. Rooms very clean and comfortable and food very good. Book this place and go to the lake as part of your trip. You will not be disappointed! AMAZING!!

GGuest UserThe Arts Riverview Lodge is beautifully located right on the river. The breakfast is fantastic for the price. We were suggested to book various tours but no one was pushy or made us feel badly treated after we hadn't booked... (I don't understand the other comments on this) and our room was absolutely mold-free. We had a very pleasant stay and would come back!

GGuest UserThe atmosphere is a place to stay on a not very high mountain. The reservation was for a family home, the entire house was reserved, but the upper and lower floors were separated and could not be seen through each other. The path up the mountain is quite steep with stairs. If elderly people find it difficult to walk into the room because they have to use a fairly high ground staircase.
Inside the room is well organized. The surrounding atmosphere is surrounded by mountains. The weather is good. The food is delicious. The restaurant staff provide good service.

GGuest UserCame for the first time and was delighted with the service. The accommodations were clean and the air conditioning was cool. Unfortunately, we came during the time when there was little water in the stream so we couldn't play in the water. If it rains a lot, it's beautiful and the food is delicious.

LLiv_This hotel is perfect, really nice modern spacious rooms and bathroom. Located in good location for Khao Sok National Park, and near restaurants too. Only downside is the shower isn’t the warmest. But overall would stay again before visiting the National Park.

ООльга НеретинаVery cozy houses among the lush greenery of the jungle. There is no kettle or refrigerator in the houses - this was not a problem for us, we stayed for one night. The air conditioning works great, the house is spacious and very clean. Good breakfast (about 5 European breakfast options to choose from) and fresh vegetables/fruits.
