Le Erawan is a new hotel within easy reach of Phang Nga town by car. We were given a warm reception by the English speaking receptionist who was very helpful in resolving our Agoda reservation that went awry. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the aircon was efficient. There was however no hot water in the washbasin. They provided bottled water, coffee and creamer in the room, but, strangely, no tea. This we had to order at extra cost. The breakfast was adequate with fresh fruit, yogurt and cereal. There was a choice of 8 hot dishes as well as toast, tea and coffee. On Thursday night there was live music that reverberated throughout the hotel. Not sure about the other nights.

Everything is very, very clean. Great respect to the owners and staff for this. Not all expensive hotels have seen such thorough cleaning and attention to detail. Nice interior, home comfort. Nothing is broken, every handle, switch, shower - everything is in working order. There are no insects. It is obvious that they treat everything with care. It is unusual that you need to take off your shoes at the entrance and walk around the entire building barefoot. But considering the incredible cleanliness of the floor, this is acceptable. I did not like the strange system of draining water from the sink onto the floor in the toilet. Why is this done? Everything I flushed ended up on the floor.

Very good location, next to the main road. Near local restaurants and 7 eleven Big C Major, good rooms, clean, soft beds, good air conditioning, very spacious room, in the morning there is coffee, local snacks to eat, worth recommending.

The Sleep Phang-nga is located along the main road through Phang-nga. The hotel does not have its own parking lot. Street parking wasn't too difficult to find when we arrived in the evening, but I expect it might be more problematic during the day. The staff had very limited English communication capability - it was sufficient for check-in, but not really feasible to obtain recommendations for dining options (which were quite limited after 8pm), for example. The room was very basic, but clean, and overall good value considering the very low price. We did not experience any significant noise disturbances. Remarkably, despite the price, quite a nice jok (Thai congee) breakfast was included in the room rate. Overall, The Sleep is a good option for a short stay in Phang-nga, particularly considering the price and the absence of a large range of other options.

The hotel is in a good location, close to the rafting area. The area is wide, with complete facilities. However, the cleanliness and service are not good enough. We booked a single bed and got a double bed. Even though the front desk used a method of having the housekeeping department use a large topper to support the bed, they had us wait and follow up to provide service. The two departments did not coordinate well enough. There were no tissue sheets in the room. Lizard poop was clearly visible on the floor. This made us feel disappointed during our first stay. Please improve.
