Pfaffikon Hotels with Airport pickup service

we stayed one night before going to Alpamare with our 2 kids (5 and 7), we had a room on 3rd floor with a nice view on the lake. It was very quiet, the bed was huge. the staff was very friendly, the parking next to the hotel is included, which is very convenient. the hotel is one minute away from Alpamare, the is also a shopping center close by. We had dinner at the restaurent OLEA and the food was good but the service was extremely poor and slow. We had to ask 3 times to get a beer and we never got the wine list after asking several times. the breakfast was good,including fresh orange juice but the scrambed eggs were cold in the buffet and some croissants seemed to be from the day before. I can recommand the hotel but not the restaurent.

I have spent 18 days working from JOYN Zurich so think this should be a fairly accurate review of my experience. For context, JOYN is new so may still be working through teething issues, but hopefully this is useful feedback. Pros; - Comfortable, well equipped rooms. I was in one of the largest apartments they offer and it is a good space to spend a lot of time - The kitchenette whilst small is workable and has most of what you'd need - Well located close to the airport and about 25 mins by tram to central Zurich - Nice bathroom and good shower pressure - Gym is good with nice new equipment - Very close to great supermarkets (Coop and Migros next door) - The communal spaces are lovely, including the central courtyard and roof gardens - Strong water pressure from the shower (although the drain didn't seem to be able to cope with the volume of water which meant potential overflowing of the shower unless carefully managed) - The room has a small dishwasher. There were two dishwasher tablets provided and these weren't topped up by the cleaners, meaning you'll need to buy more Unfortunately the cons are pretty significant though, particularly if you want to work from here; Cons - The wifi is atrocious. At best the speeds hover around 1mbps which isn't good enough for stable whatsapp or facetime calls, let alone Teams or Zoom work calls. I thought this may have been my room but is pretty much my experience in all the open spaces including the ground floor communal spaces (see screenshot from Speedtest). This makes it unsuitable for any work. - The cleaning services are a bare minimum. After one week they changed my linen and towels but didn't vacuum, sweep the floor, empty bins or clean the bathroom. After another 7 days they'd hadn't come to clean again and when prompted they said it would be cleaned that day (but it wasn't). On the 8th day I asked and again they promised to have it cleaned. Whilst I wouldn't mind cleaning myself, there is no vacuum cleaner, cleaning cloths or anything else in the room to clean with, so unless you want to buy your own, be prepared for it to get pretty dusty and the bathroom to get dirty. Cleaning also didn't include replacing the kitchen towels so you'll have to wash these yourself if you're staying for an extended period. - Other than the supermarkets nearby there is pretty much nothing else around Perhaps they're not used to guests having longer stays, but with cleaning services like this, it will become pretty horrible unless guests buy the cleaning products and do it themselves.

Mon séjour au Panorama Resort & Spa à Feusisberg a été tout simplement exceptionnel. Situé majestueusement au-dessus du pittoresque lac de Zurich, cet hôtel offre une expérience de vacances inoubliable tant par son emplacement spectaculaire que par ses prestations haut de gamme. Perché sur une colline surplombant le lac de Zurich l'emplacement de l'hôtel offre une vue à couper le souffle. Chaque matin, je me réveillais avec une vue panoramique imprenable sur les eaux scintillantes du lac et les sommets enneigés des montagnes alentour. La tranquillité et la sérénité de cet endroit sont vraiment incomparables. Lors de mon arrivée, le professionnalisme et gentillesse du personnel étaient remarquables. Très attentionné, serviable et toujours prêt à répondre aux besoins et à rendre notre séjour aussi agréable que possible. J'ai séjourné au sein d’une très belle suite avec vue sur le lac et je n'aurais pas pu rêver mieux. La chambre était spacieuse élégamment décorée et dotée de toutes les commodités modernes nécessaires pour un séjour confortable. Le lit était luxueux et douillet garantissant des nuits de sommeil reposant après une journée bien remplie à explorer la région. Le Panorama Resort & Spa propose une gamme complète de services et d'équipements de classe mondiale. Le spa entièrement rénové était une oasis de détente où il est possible de se ressourcer et de se faire choyer avec une variété de soins de bien-être. Vous y retrouverez tout ce dont vous aurez besoin. La piscine intérieure est grande, et la piscine chauffée extérieure offrait une vue panoramique sur le lac ce qui rendait la baignade encore plus agréable. Un pur bonheur surtout avec le ciel rosé lors du coucher de soleil. Il est possible de se restaurer au Spa Akari tout au long de la journée à l’étage avec le très généreux buffet proposé. Les options gastronomiques proposées par les restaurants de l'hôtel étaient tout simplement délicieuses. Que ce soit pour le petit-déjeuner avec un large choix de produits locaux, mais aussi plus exotique de grande qualité. Concernant le dîner, j’ai été impressionné par la qualité et la diversité des plats proposés. Le premier soir, j’ai pu tester le restaurant Collina où l’on retrouve des plats d’une finesse incroyable. Mon choix s’est porté sur : steak tartare, chateaubriand sauce béarnaise, dessert chocolat, brownie fruits, exquis !!! Pour le dernier soir, je me devais de réaliser l’expérience du restaurant Loy Fah de l’Hôtel qui compte 14 points au Gault & Millau. Là encore un service irréprochable et une qualité de plat exceptionnelle. J’ai opté pour le Contemporary Thai set Menu 1 qui se décompose en 4 plats ainsi que de délicieux cocktails à la présentation très originale et au goût succulent. L’Hôtel propose également une multitude d'activités pour les clients. Il est possible de profiter de randonnées dans les environs ou de se rendre rapidement au centre de Zurich. La région regorge de sites culturels et historiques à découvrir

Swiss budget motels are better than most American 3+ star hotels. Tram is seconds from hotel. Tram cost 2.70 Swiss Franc one-way (May 2023). Less than 20 minutes from Lake Zurich. Room was good enough size for one short night before the airport. Laundry on-site. Food/drink vending machine in lobby.

Beautiful, clean, fresh smell of wood in the room. The shower was excellent. The entire facility is beautiful and clean with great service on top of a mountain in Switzerland. The funicular that brings you up to the lodge is so cool with the best views. There is a parking lot at the bottom of the mountain at the funicalar entrance for 14 francs/day. The lodge is right next to the funicular. The breakfast buffet is really good quality extra charge. Beautiful hiking trails. Everything is perfect at this lodge. Highly recommend.

Where can I start? Firstly the hotel advertises that there is parking available, please we aware that unless you’re going to leave your car in a space up the road (not designated for the accommodation), then there is NOT parking available in the sense you’d expect it to be. Any space that appears to be on site has signs about not leaving the car with threats of towing your car. We ended up parking in the city centre for 40CHF a night. We did expect cheap and cheerful but this was not cheerful. When we went in, the apartment didn’t appear very clean, and on opening the fridge door there was leftover food in there (including fish, which my partner has an anaphylactic allergy too, although that part isn’t their fault, it just added insult). The kitchen cleaning sponge and towels were dirty. The hairdryer was broken and dangerous to use. The shower screen was broken. The toilet brush had hair left on it. The curtains were stained. There were more issues but if I mentioned them I’d just be sounding petty. Finally, the king size bed only had a single sheet. We sent an email and in all fairness they did remove the leftover food, replace the towel, bin the dirty sponge, “fix” the shower screen (it was a bodge job and will break again soon im sure), and replace the shower head (something we’d not complained about?!) When looking for somewhere to stay in Zurich we narrowed our search down by looking for somewhere with parking. We thought the cheaper price would be as it was out of the city centre, and relatively basic, not dirty. I would recommend you avoid this, or only book if you have very low expectations.

Check in and breakfast is located in the sister hotel, 5-10min. We chose the free park because it was cheaper. For the price we paid, we were enthusiastic! The bathrooms are relatively new, everything is very clean and you benefit from many places from 4-Stern Service: For example, it has various care products, snap set, shaped set, water bottles on the room etc. Breakfast was also very delicious and the staff was very friendly & premature. It was no problem for us to go a few minutes walk to the sister hotel to breakfast and check in, it was the price difference. All in all absolutely recommend!

I had to stay in Zurich for one night because the time of my arrival was too late to take a train home. The hotel is perfectly located (2.5 Km away from the airport) and you can easily get to it by train or bus or taxi. The room was really comfortable and clean. It had a safe, a TV, a fridge with water and a cozy bed, plus wardrobe. Breakfast was very nice, too. Staff was professional, kind and helpful.
