We stopped at this hotel quite by chance and we were not disappointed. Very friendly welcome and smiling staff. Correct room in a small lodge. The meal taken in the evening completely satisfied us. We talked about the meeting with the owner, it was really pleasant. Breakfast very good too. I talk about it to friends who, like us, want to spend a night's rest on the road to vacation.

The rooms and bathrooms are very decent: clean and simple. But the food....I haven't tried Reunionese cuisine because I can't stand chili. I took the menu for €18. Failed egg casserole, undercooked pork ribs, burnt stuffed tomatoes. But sweet potato cake very good. Can do better.

We found the setting pleasant. The rooms in the small houses, spacious. The bedding to be reviewed quickly in the room where we were (8). Concerning the evening meal it was just in quantity when taking a la carte (no menu). The service went well, except for the aperitif (hot kir). I reported it and apparently there was no chilled white wine (next time tell us before serving, we would have had something else) with an outside temperature of 30°. Breakfast was ok and affordable. This opinion is intended to be objective, with the aim of improvement. I say this for the people who post reviews to destroy.... We will certainly come back next year to issue, I hope for a super positive review 😉

We stayed there for 2 nights this weekend and for us, everything went well, friendly welcome, helpful and available staff. On the hotel side, small house in a green park, clean room, good bedding, shower and electricity in the bathroom to be reviewed but in the end, positive opinion. Nice and generous breakfast, nothing to say. For the meal, Creole plate, and rougail which we appreciated. To conclude, a pleasant stay at the mango tree, thank you. We recommend.

first contact on the phone for the reservation, cordial, fast, precise and clear. The room with bathroom which is located in a pavilion behind the main building is clean without bad smell, the bedding is good. We take the evening menu at the restaurant, the price is not excessive (18€) but it's really not great, especially the dishes. the beef cheek was as hard as old soles and my partner's poultry skewer was only partially cooked. The dessert, crème brulées, were not burnt and almost cold. On the other hand, the breakfast was very correct, classic and varied, served as a rather well-stocked buffet.

What's nice is that it's a real hotel and not a chain... Room price €72. Arrived around 7:45 p.m. without having booked and received a very pleasant welcome. Restaurant in the hotel, which is great when traveling, at very reasonable prices. Daily menu at €18, Creole menu €23.50. Decent meal. Correct wine list.
