Pousada Colonial excelente, aconchegante, romântica, silenciosa e linda no Bingen, há uma hora do Rio. Casal Regina e Fred são muito simpáticos e receptivos. Casa histórica de 250 anos é um atrativo à parte, super interessante. Quarto, cama e banheiro ótimos. Café da manhã completo e ótimo. Piscina linda com salão de estar super confortável. Um local para voltar sempre. Nossa “casa de campo” fora do Rio.

Maravilhoso, mas com oportunidades de melhorias
A pousada é muito linda, o pessoal da recepção é muito eficiente e gentil, a proprietária (D. Regina) especialmente simpática e preocupada nos menores detalhes, o café da manhã é espetacular, mas temos alguns pontos à melhorar: a) Como estávamos em viagem de 39 luas de mel, escolhemos a suite master, que na minha avaliação foi cara, esperando encontrar algum diferencial maior, como uma cafeteira, frigobar com alguma opções de bebidas e alguns snacks, mas só havia água b) a suite master que ficamos é fora do corpo do hotel e exige um longo percurso de subidas de escada, o que já incomoda um pouco aos 70 anos. c) A partir das 20 horas, o hotel fecha e não oferece nenhum tipo de alimentação, nem mesmo alternativa, tendo recebido um controle remoto para abrir o portão e sair em busca de alimentação. Descrevo esses pontos como uma sugestão de melhoria, pois o lugar é muito lindo. Ainda existe uma taxa "opcional" de 10% a ser paga no checkout. Sugiro incluí-la no preço, á que o hóspede se sente um tanto obrigado a fazer o pagamento.

A pousada Vila Brasil é um verdadeiro oásis na cidade de Petrópolis! Parece ter saído do cenário de alguma novela de época. Ao entrar na pousada fomos surpreendidos pelo atendimento e pelo belíssimo jardim inspirado no estilo Burle Marx. A pousada é simplesmente maravilhosa! Aconchegante, acolhedora, confortável e com uma história apaixonante. Muito bem preservada e com uma preocupação incrível em resguardar e contar através da sua arquitetura e decoração cada detalhe da sua história. Os mosaicos são um espetáculo a parte, inspirados na obra de Antoni Gaudí, criados pelo arquiteto e mosaicista Rico Araújo. Ah, o café da manhã, delicioso, com uma vista incrível para piscina com muitas opções de frutas, bolos, pães, geleias, sucos, tapiocas e omeletes, etc. Tudo isso embalado pela trilha sonora da Bossa Nova interpretada por Frank Sinatra. A equipe primorosa e os proprietários simpaticíssimos!! Regina e Frederico! Sua pousada, desculpe, minha casa, foi uma experiência que tivemos nesses dias em Petrópolis de extrema felicidade!
