Lovely private villas in a secluded location- and this is something you will quickly appreciate. It takes a bit to get into the major town areas, but they are crowded and chaotic, whereas the villas actually give you the relaxing beach escape you probably want. We got a cliffside villa- which you should do as well. With floor to ceiling windows, you are looking out into the water from every room. A short walk brings you to the beach, which is great when the tide is low. The cliff villas have a kitchen, which is great if you don't feel like eating out every single meal. You may want to rent a car, as it is helpful to get around to see whatever you want. The hotel owners can assist with that if you dont want to deal with a rental company. It isn't terribly hard- you will want to drive slow, watch out for animals and use google maps for navigation. And this brings me to the best part of staying here- the owners (and their cute kitten)! They will bend over backwards for you- and there is nothing they will not try to help you with. I have a vegan mom and celebrated my birthday here, and the owner personally baked my birthday cake because the bakery was thrown by the vegan part of it! She also went to the beach and picked sea glass for me. Basically, staying here is like having a waterfront home with amazing neighbors who help you with everything!
