The size of the hotel room is okay, the bathroom is quite big, but it is a bit old, and the sound insulation is slightly poor. Fortunately, the floor is not high, because you need to carry the suitcase upstairs. The location is good, within walking distance from the train station, bus station and the central area. In addition, there is no restaurant, so if you need breakfast, the hotel will prepare a simple breakfast and deliver it to the room.

Lovely room. Very clean. Comfortable nights sleep. Meals very good. Excellent value. The only thing that caused confusion was the parking. Going by the website there was no parking on site and it says park opposite at a cost of £14 a day. We presumed the parking we saw on site was for staff so we parked in the council car park opposite only to discover we could have parked on site. However the cost of parking from 3.30pm until 12pm the following day in the council car park turned out to be £8 so cheaper than Premier Inn parking! That aside would definitely recommend.

Check in was smooth. Receptionist were friendly and helpful. Hotel is located is a very good location, away from the hustle and bustle of the city Center, yet very close to pop in and out when need. Overall, we had a fabulous time at Holiday Inn Peterborough. I’d recommend it any day.

The standard rooms are small and old-fashioned, with no lift. Breakfast is full English breakfast, no noodles, no fried rice, no porridge, only bread butter butter bacon sausage fried tomato omelette scrambled eggs beans, coffee juice yogurt fruit. Strange things must be handed over by the waiter, not taken by yourself.

I was arranging a charity dinner and rooms for up to 90 in the Great Hall. The location is beautiful, and the hotel is clean and well presented. All of the staff I encountered throughout the booking, arrangements and the event itself were exceptional. They were always polite, professional and couldn't do enough to help. The evening went extremely well with fantastic feedback on the hotel, the food and also the staff from all who attended. If you're looking for a location to arrange an event, look no further.
