Hotel was good. The gentlemen that greeted us was excellent!! Very knowledgeable about the city and recommended a few places. The sink was clogged in washroom but sent a maintenance person up promptly. The only problem was we found out our door did not lock at all. We didn’t notice until later on our second night. Light bothersome since all our belongings were in there. Told lady when we were checking out and said that was not good but that they were renovating the floor next week.

I have stayed here many times in the past and will continue to stay here. Best hotel in Peterborough. The best continental breakfast going, with a wide variety of foods. I do suggest anyone to stay here.

It must be challenging to maintain a hotel that is so close to a peewee hockey town. The place was overrun with kids doing shenanigans, and the maintenance/cleaning staff were very overworked trying to keep up with their nonsense. Regardless the onsite staff was largely cheerful and helpful throughout our stay.
The room was clean enough and the bathroom was standard quality. The provided breakfast was adequate as well. Don't expect much from a Super 8. It's more the location than the "luxurious amenities" you're paying for.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. We booked a king sized bed with sofa pull out. Our first night we stayed in room 310, pulled back the sheets on the bed and the were soiled, mold on the wall near the heater/AC unit, filthy lamp shades, the shower and bathroom were full of mold and mildew, the pull out sofa looked like it had seen better days as well. The gentleman at the front desk did move us to a different room, but seemed annoyed at our request. The second room was slightly better, and at least had clean sheets. The bathroom counter had several screws in place to hold down the laminate. The pullout sofa was in rough shape and the fabric was stained.
The pool should be closed as well. The extremely strong smell of chlorine burned our noses. The water level was low and could have used about another 6-8 inches of water. The pool deck had peeling and chipped paint.
Over all, avoid this hotel and look elsewhere.
