Hotels in Dataran Sunway, Petaling Jaya

The owner is very warm and friendly, the hotel is welcoming, comfortable and clean. Complete facilities, timely service and effective. Convenient, lots of food around, it is worth staying again.

Hotel rooms are good. Only the pathway to entrance of the lift is quite tricky as the lobby counter is so small and must go through Chinese restaurants. We only stayed one night as visiting sick relative at Thomson Hospital nearby.

The only good thing of the hotel is location, sound insulation is not good, and the room I rent electric tripping few time, first time at night, the workers told us to turn on the main switch, unfortunately electric still tripping 2 time while we sleep.

Location is good, you can have food every where. But! misleading in booking system. I selected the room type with window and city view, but since it is a self check in, only a number to call, but was told that all room has no window.  Check in with kiosk, and I need to re-check in every day, in order to get my room card. But need to call them, then they will remote access to the kiosk, key in all the username and password, which is very insecure, coz everybody can see it. My room is 208, they wrongly give me the 308 room card at the kiosk, then when I call up again, they just simply give me my room card… they didn’t check which room I actually stay? How insecure it is! When I go to check out today, and want to claim back my deposit at the kiosk. The system shows that my deposit was claimed. I called up the number again, she said I already claimed at 7am. I was still sleep on that time, how I claimed it? Then I request to have the CCTV record, then she just pass back the deposit to me thru the kiosk, omg… what is going on? It is very dangerous hotel. I feel very insecure and unsafe. Will not stay again.

The room was small, only suitable for a one-night stay. The kettle worked, but I had to thoroughly clean the inside as it was dirty. There were two cups provided; one was chipped, and the other was so dirty I had to scrub it with a wet tissue to get the marks off. Our next-door neighbors were noisy. As we were leaving the room, someone from the next room suddenly asked to borrow our AC remote. I was taken aback and said no; thankfully, a housekeeper was passing by, so we just left as usual. Later that evening, after we had just returned, he knocked on my door and asked about 'the man with the big hair and makeup,' referring to my boyfriend and his friend who were staying in the same hotel. I asked 'Why?' and he just said 'Okay, never mind.' What a weirdo. My boyfriend later saw the man come out of his room wearing shorts and shaving right outside his door, so he warned us not to leave our room. Around midnight, I heard someone knocking and trying to open my room door. Panicked, I called my boyfriend. My boyfriend and his friend then confronted the man, asking if there was a problem, to which he simply replied, 'Sorry, wrong room.' I was so scared and terrified that I couldn't sleep a wink all night! Then I heard more noise; I saw a man standing against the wall in front of my room, seemingly waiting for someone. It turned out he was in the same room as our noisy neighbor. Honestly, it was not a good stay at all. As a girl, having such weird neighbors was incredibly unsettling. Definitely not staying here again.

I like the parking space.. private, spacious and free. The room is quite ok for the price but not sound proof. At night can be noisy with people chatting at nearby rooms. The check in and check out process is smooth with the machine but there’s a staff to assist. Definitely will come again. Worth the price
