The basement is smelly, it smells like sewer. Out of 3 lifts only 1 working where I had to take the stairs down during dinner. The lobby on level 14 is smelly, as though the carpet has not been cleaned since forever. Ventilation very very bad. We took stairs again on check out day as lift was not working

This is the first time in my life that I have had to check out of a hotel just a few hours after checking in! The condition of the room was absolutely horrible. First of all, I noticed after checking in that there were no bath towels in the room. I had to contact customer service to have them sent up. Secondly, all four pillows on the bed had an extremely unpleasant odor - absolutely disgusting! I immediately went downstairs to buy Febreze fabric freshener to try to eliminate the smell, but it didn't work. I even sprayed my expensive perfume to cover it up, but whenever I got near the pillows, the horrible smell was still there! In addition, the damp and moldy spots around the room were disgusting. Even the headboard was moldy and hadn't been cleaned properly! I understand that this is a budget hotel, but the condition of this room was absolutely unacceptable. The management is extremely poor and the hygiene standards are appalling! Anyone considering staying at this hotel should think twice!
