It is adjacent to sunway medical centwr. The space is comfortable and equipped with a full set of kitchen equipment including kitchen utensils. It was originally planned for short-term accommodation for accompanying patients or people who come from out of town to receive medical trea**ent. The breakfast is very light and is probably planned for patients. It is also possible that children are not accepted. For the purpose of rest and recuperation for residents. Generally speaking, it is very quiet and comfortable. However, the room I stayed in at that time had poor drainage. The water from the shower directly overflowed the drain hole and was discharged from the toilet drain hole. I contacted the front desk, but there was no improvement.

Very good experience here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is very cosy and clean. The toilet is in very good condition. FnB is very good and many choices and variety of foods. Will stay here next time.

Stayed there during a business trip for 2 nights. Super friendly check-in, even at 12 mid night. The counter staff, specifically Mohd Ashraf, is a delight and extremely knowledgeable. I found him to be courteous, professional and accomodating, even at very late at night, and still the only person at the counter. Discovered the Superior King room had no fridge and the shower gel container was empty when I checked in. Told Housekeeping and it took a day for them to find a mini fridge but they somehow failed to refill the shower gel container. Luckily, I brought my own shower gel. There was no centralised lighting switch in the room. Everything had to be switched on and off manually. The shower area was partially cleaned with dust trails all over the edges. The same with the toilet. And the same with the room. This told me the housekeeping staff only cleaned the most covenient areas and did not do a thorough job. But it was ok. The bed and pillow was super nice and the room was quiet even though it was facing the monorail Kota Damansara station. I also remembered to close the curtains for some privacy. It was a direct line of sight to this station and the main road. Even though the monorails were running, I could barely hear any noise. The two nights were very peaceful and I woke refreshed and ready. The wireless broadband in the room was very good and I conducted several video calls and two video conference sessions in the evening and at night. The table and chair was suited to my needs. Housekeeping also did not replenish my complimentary water bottles but again, it was only a slight inconvenient as the electric kettle was really useful. I had to remove the electic kettle from its box as the steam from the boiling water really fogged the upper glass kitchentop. Parking was super convenient. Totally loved the breakfast buffet. Had my business conversations and caught up with my business partner during breakfast. Breakfast ended at 10.30am but that is plenty of time. The kuih-muih or local pastry was beyond my expectation and very very very good. The miso soup was incredible and the staff actually knew how to do perfect half boiled eggs. Not hard boiled and not raw - served nicely on a tiny bowl. The chef would actually break the eggs into the bowl separately to make sure it was acceptable, then combined it into a single bowl. Perfect. I have stayed in many hotels and I am glad it was available at Royale Chulan Damansara. The salami and cheese choices were very very good and so is the assor**ent of curries and roti canai. Absolutely delicious. The only item not on par was the coffee machine.

This hotel has to train its staff so that clear information is given to the guests. I stayed there for 3 days two nights and every day the rules for parking were changing. If the simple thing like parking they couldn’t be clear about, I’m not sure what else that could have not been clear. The staff were not helpful in solving the issue faced by me. It was a bad experience and I will never set my foot in this hotel again.

We had a good staycation here..I requested to have some surprise for my son bday.Our room was decorated with the elephant and swan towel.Besides,they also sent a slice of cake to my son.My son really surprised! Thanks so much.Really appreciate that. The hotel is 5 minutes away from ioi city mall and they do provide buggy services to the mall.Eventhough it is located in the city but I love the greenery surrounding of the hotel. Theres 3 pool and 1 with the slide which is the plus point and also the playground. The staff are all well trained.Well done! Overall I feel satisfied with my stay here.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and this time, I specifically booked an upgrade to the Grand Deluxe Room for a total of 5 nights. The location of the hotel is impeccable, and the room space is quite generous. However, considering the nightly rate of over RM800, the value for money is not high. The room facilities and amenities also leave much to be desired. It's surprising that a five-star hotel would only provide two bottles of drinking water and no coffee machine, only offering instant c⁷offee, as well as two tea bags, each of black and green tea. Furthermore, the handwash basin in my room was partially clogged, which resulted in slow drainage. I reported this to both the staff and the receptionist, but it still hadn't been fixed by the time of my check-out. Additionally, the windows in the grand deluxe room are completely sealed, so it's impossible to get any fresh air. When I requested a higher floor upon check-in, they initially assigned me to the eighth floor. However, due to noise from a family with children on the eighth floor and less-than-ideal soundproofing, I needed to change rooms due to a severe cold, their subsequent arrangement of the tenth floor. During my stay, I noticed a trend in which most foreign guests, especially Westerners, were typically assigned to higher floors. I hope this wasn't my sensitivity and that the hotel doesn't discriminate based on different ethnicities, especially given that I paid for my stay!

Old Hotel but still grand and well maintained. Good location and friendly staff. Nice view and delicious breakfast buffet spread! I hope they don't change it!

Very kids friendly hotel. We enjoys stay here. The service is very tip top. Staff sangat-sangat baik. Untuk family yang nak bawa kids untuk staycation sini sangat sesuai. Ada slide pool yang baru siap macam mini waterpark. Ada permainan go- cart kids, ping pong, badminton, basketball, mini golf. Pendek kata anak- anak akan enjoy stay kat sini. Tak lupa juga ada Kiddies World dalam tu. Nak pergi IOI Mall boleh naik shuttle van hotel. Senang tak payah drive. Breakfast pun sedap kat sini.
