We stayed at Butterfly Camping Village with our family of six, and four children's ages ranging from 4 up to 16 - so a lot of different people with different interests to please! However, our time at Peschiera del Garda was made special by the cheerful, friendly, talented and hard-working Animation Team. The whole team of Davide, Ciara, Marceo and Iris (sorry for spelling!) was just brilliant, entertaining our 4-year-old with arts and crafts and the older ones with games of volleyball, water polo and table tennis - and the entertainment they put on each evening was enjoyed by all of us. They had such an easy-going, friendly way of including people. The park management needs to know what a difference they make to everyone's stay - our family from Wales thought they were brilliant. The accommodation was basic but comfortable, suited to the price, and it is situated 15 mins walk from the train station with access to Verona, Venice and Milan. The on-site restaurant/bar serves good, simple Italian food. It's a small campsite but this suited us as everything (shop, pool, sports facilities) were close together. But the Animation Team was the highlight - we can't thank them enough for making it a special trip.

Our family of two adults and two children (10 and 8 year old) stayed here for 7 nights in July. We booked directly with Camping Butterfly for a two bedroom bungalow. We were delighted when we ended up in their deluxe s bungalow right next to the pool, play area and restaurant. The staff at reception were excellent and friendly. We didn't have a car but managed the walk from the train station in about 15 minutes with our luggage. The bungalow had two bedrooms with their own en-suite bathrooms. There is a lounge and kitchen. The patio was large with a big table, area for drying your clothes and a small astro garden area with two sun loungers. The bungalow is well equipped with aircon in each bedroom. The kitchen has all you need - kettle, toaster, microwave, electric hob, coffee machine and even a dishwasher. The hairdryer is borrowed from reception and a safe if needed. Remember you have to pay 100 Euro in cash on arrival which you get back at the end of the stay. The bungalow was clean and bedding was adequate with extra pillows and covers if required located in the wardrobes. The showers just okay, nothing special but it is a campsite of course so at least you have your own! There is a great shop on the camp site which receives fresh pastries and bread every morning but you need to get there early! Prices are reasonable but we made the 15 minute walk to Penny supermarket to buy a wider range of products. We ate a few times at the campsite restaurant which was fine, nothing special. The pool is adequate in size with plenty of sunbeds. People were not too crazy getting sunbeds early in the morning. The slides just okay but perhaps for younger ones. Everyone has to wear swimming caps. We didn't use their children's club or watch any evening entertainment. They have a good animation team and we saw organised yoga, aqua aerobics, water polo and football. The entertainment went on until about 22:30/23:00 then it was quiet. The campsite next door also had loud entertainment at night. From the campsite it's 5 minutes to the pebble beach which is lovely. It took us 15 minutes to walk to the ferry pier and also to the restaurants in the old town. Same time to the train station and supermarket so a good base for everything - see my other reviews about restaurants, Gardaland, Milan and Venice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and it was good value for money when booking direct. Enjoy.

The camping itself was really good. It was a bit shocking that you need to pay 35€ a week for the Air-conditioning,which was in other camps included. We were in the Happy Camp Easy Bungalow and thumbs up to the staff there, they spoke English and we're friendly. The Animation Team David,Gaia,Anna and Jikita were also funny, easygoing and the children liked them a lot. We loved the Aqua Gym at 11am. The pool was great with two bigger slides for the kids and there were always enough places to pay down. Be aware that you need to wear a swim cap. The only negative experience was the lady at the bike rental, who were rude, spoke no other languages, didn't want to help when we wanted to ask questions and even watered me down in front of my child. She had enough of all tourists but she should change a job then. We paid for bikes and left money there. I expected a little more kindness. She shouldn't be there as it is a very bad marketing face for the company.

We recently spent an unforgettable family vacation at Butterfly Camping on Lake Garda, and it exceeded all our expectations! Traveling with two young boys, ages 3 and 6, can sometimes be a challenge, but this campsite made it an absolute breeze. First and foremost, the animations led by Davide were nothing short of amazing. Our kids absolutely adored him, and he made every activity fun and engaging, keeping the little ones entertained throughout our stay. His energy and enthusiasm were contagious, and it was clear that he genuinely enjoys working with children. The restaurant service was another highlight of our stay. Mauricio, in particular, provided outstanding service that made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. The food and drinks were excellent, with a variety of delicious options that catered to both adults and children. Every meal was a treat! The location of the camping is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, which was a huge plus for us. We spent a lot of time there, enjoying the beautiful scenery and the calm waters of Lake Garda. The on-site swimming pool was also a hit with the whole family, offering a refreshing break from the warm weather. Overall, Butterfly Camping provided us with a perfect blend of relaxation and fun. We highly recommend it to families looking for a memorable camping experience on Lake Garda. We can't wait to return!

I'll keep this short. We stayed with Eurocamp in a 2 bedroom family caravan. The craven power kept tripping so we had to repeatedly reset fuses multiple times a day, everything from the toilet roll holder to cupboard door and even the handle of the main door were hanging off and poorly screwed/ put together. The oven had barely any heat on full and 1 of the hob rings wouldn't work plus there were 0 plugs on the 3-bed children's room, not a single one! Oh and there weren't any baking trays, grill pan, tin opener or bins. As for the camp, only a small pool (swimming caps on or you can't enter) with no other facilities and the restaurant was mediocre with random provision of cutlery, oils or breads and portion sizes for anything but pizzas were tiny. As for what those supposedly French Fries were I've no idea, they were undercooked, weirdly thin and wholly unseasoned. I would not recommend this camp to anyone, worst Eurocamp site we've been to in all of Europe.

Lovely place. Stayed in euro camp cabin. Well equipped and clean. My daughter said the pillows were stained and should have had pillow protectors. There was lots of things for the children to do. Shop and bakery were good. The staff in the bar and restaurant were lovely and helpful. As vegetarians we felt the food was a bit limited. The rep from euro camp was especially helpful and had a great attitude to all of us. Reception staff helpful. Would recommend for families with children. The facilities were kept very clean.

This was our first experience in a camping site. We didn't choose this accommodation as originally we had a hotel booked with our holiday, but it was imposed on us after that our travel agency changed the accommodation in the last few days. We liked the bungalow, and the room layout which had enough space. The layout consisted of 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with showers and a well equipped kitchen. The rooms were clean apart from the small spiders that roamed around occasionally (but this maybe due to being a camping site. The air-condition was well adequate. Hot and cold water was available too. However, there were no liquid soap, shampoos available as one would expect from a hotel accommodation. We had to buy from the very expensive mini-market available in the camping site. The food was our main complaint as the main dishes (photos attached) were definitely not enough after a day out. The restaurant provided an extremely slow service that sometimes we didn't even bother to wait for the dessert. Cleaning services were not provided during our 8 day stay. You had to take the dirty towels to the main reception and ask for replacement. The same for the garbage as you had to take it out to the bring-in site. Also, we should also have had free Wi-Fi service which was provided on the third day after complaining with the reception. This was not the type of service that one would expect from a 4 star accommodation.
