Family of 4 paid £3500 for 11 nights in a bungalow. The bungalows are dreadful! To think what we could have had for what we spent… they are dated, dark and barely clean if you are lucky. Even shower drain cover was missing and we had to complain twice to get it replaced. No toaster and only kettle on the stove. Paid for our bedding and towels - bedding barely covers the bed and isn’t fitted so spent the 11 nights in srunched up mess lying on the waterproof mattress cover quite frequently. Actually dreaming of my comfy bed back home. The bathroom had a musty smell when we arrived-I washed and dried the shower mat outside and it improved - again not really reflective of the price paid. The overall site is nice, lots of flowers and well laid out. Plenty for kids to do and right on the lake, which my kids loved. Again though pool toilets are dark and dated and not very clean. Pools are like people soup and unless you queue at 9.30 there’s little hope of a lounger before 3pm. The supermarket on site is great-the baguettes and pistachio croissants were a favourite with us. Also the little greengrocer had lots of lovely fresh fruit that we enjoyed. There’s a little land train to peschiera that we loved going on in the evenings. There’s also a walk along the lake front and we enjoyed this too. Overall we have enjoyed our trip and seen Venice, visited Gardaland and loved the little train to peschiera. We were really let down by the accommodation though and would return to the area but definitely not to eurocamp.

We booked Bella Italia campsite, got a confirmation email, and paid the deposit. A few days later, got an email from Bella Italia stating that our dates couldn't be accommodated. We then had to book alternative accommodation in the area and Bella Italia refused to give back our €250 deposit. I would strongly advise against booking this campsite.

Just arrived and the food is awful and everything is 20 years outdated and looks like it’s been abandoned for a whole year almost. Most of the staff don’t speak any other languages so it’s difficult to communicate

Bella Italia as a campsite was amazing, their partners happy campers who we booked our accommodation with were awful. In my opinion brought down the good name & standards of Bella italia. They only dealt in cash, the cabins were not clean and there was never any representation around to answer questions or to contact. The kids bedroom door kept jamming and we contacted them by email as there was no other means of contacting them to let them know. They never responded to us or came to fix it. They took €100 booking deposit from us by cash on arrival and eventhough we rang them numerous times to get it back on departure they never turned up to give to us. I’m still trying to get my money back. DO NOT BOOK WITH HAPPY CAMPERS!!!

We came back after 4 years and nothing has changed in a good and bad way. We stayed in a pitch with camper. The price is very reasonable. The location is main bonus for camping but camping need much of improvement. Swimming pool is overcrowded and it is impossible to relax and swim. Only possibility to swim easily is in pool with swimming hats. Amenities needs much improvement. There were spiders everywhere. The beach is open all the time so you can easily walk around when ever you want.

Booked with Jet 2 and stayed in the Oleandro apartments for 10 days June to July 2025. I was a bit worried based on some reviews but found them to be clean and modern. Sheet and towels were changed every couple of days but bring tea towels as not provided. We reported a couple of repairs which were dealt with quickly. Beds were memory foam and I found them comfy even though I am a really fussy sleeper. Site is very busy but good and supermarket fine although obviously if you can travel there are Aldi/Lidl’s in the area which are cheaper. It was very very hot most days i.e. 34c so the air con was brilliant. You can walk into Peschiera but we used the land train too (2.50 euros one way). We went to Sirmione on the Ferry which was easy and used the bus for Verona which despite the negative comments I had read was fine. It cost 5 euros each and left from across the road from the campsite just a bit further down to Peschiera. There are pedaloes, canoes etc. on the beach which are really good value we found. We also hired city bikes which again were reasonable we thought. I used lemon shower gel, Pestects bracelets, Avon skin so soft and repellant and got bitten a couple of times which was good for me so I would definitely be proactive if you get bothered. The heat meant we did not want to do loads but I think in normal weather we would have done more things. Still a great holidays overall in a lovely area with plenty to do. We visited the reps meeting at the start and no one else came but it was really useful as we learned stuff about ferries, buses etc. we would not have known otherwise so worth it for 30 mins.

We were walking along the seafront and saw a classic car show in the carpark behind. We entered through many walkways on the front to reach it, and were approached by a security guard saying no wristbands, leave now (there was no security guard on the gate). We said we were trying to access the car show, and asked if it was an open event. He cut us off and said you’re not on this campsite, turnaround and get out - now! We said there was no need to be so rude, and he approached us and gestured us with his arm to leave, and continued to say go on, get out. Absolutely appalling way to speak to anybody, let alone visitors to your country that contribute favourably to your economy. Ironically, we almost booked to stay here in our camper van for 2 nights, but as the reviews say, it’s haven holidays abroad so decided against it. Maybe speak to your security team. They aren’t guarding the Crown Jewels!!!

A decent site, reasonably priced with lots to do for our 5 yr old. We stayed in a premium lodge, but they were all crammed in, no space and no sun. Pools got overcrowded in morning so only went in afternoon. Beware of traffic from Milan airport and nearby towns and attractions. Took us over an hour to travel 5K back to site at 6pm on a Mon from Gardaland.
