Clipper

The Hotel Clipper impresses guests with its wide breakfast selection, friendly and attentive service, spacious and clean rooms, convenient location near the beach and town center, and well-equipped facilities.

From the first greeting to my final departure, the experience of staying at Hotel Clipper was outstanding. The first thing when I arrived, I was handed a beverage and invited to sit in the lobby while waiting for the front desk to identify my room number. Upon arriving in my room, I found wonderfully soft towels, a comfortable bed with excellent pillows, and immaculate housekeeping details. Each morning at breakfast the staff greeted me with a request for my coffee preference and refreshed the supply of food throughout the service times. Crisp bacon is one of my weaknesses and there was a sufficient supply to satisfy my craving. Fresh fruit, a variety of pastries, juices, cheeses, yogurt....the list goes on of items on the menu. Every interaction with staff members was pleasant and whenever I returned to the hotel to pick up my key and go to my room, I was greeted warmly.

I've had a great experience staying in this hotel. It's located one block from the beach, and the rooms are clean and comfortable, despite being small they have a very nice ambience. The furniture is new, with air conditioning and a balcony. The wifi has a decent speed and the minibar isn't stocked, which is good because I can fill it with my own stuff. The bed was also quite comfortable. Their breakfast is very good with several options, ranging from the typical Italian breakfast sweet pastries to more nutritious options, such as eggs, bacon, bread, cheese, cold meats, yogurts and cereal. The staff is very friendly and polite, specially the maitre Placido, the waiter Giuseppe, and the receptionists Valentina, Sanda, the gentleman who's in the night shift and the new girl whose name I don't remember. They can also lend you bicycles for no extra cost, which is a very convenient means of transportation to go around the city. If you're looking for a good hotel for a fair price, you found it.
