The hotel is located in the center of Perugia so you have access to restaurants, cafes, shopping, splendid views of the valley; and did I mention shopping!!! There was also convenient access to the main stage as well as other venues to enjoy the Umbria Jazz Festival. The room was spacious and well provisioned with upmarket, en-suite bathrooms. The staff was cheerfully helpful, ensuring that my stay in Perugia was seamless and memorable. I plan to return next year as well. Many thanks to the competent and gracious staff.

To echo the other reviews, the location was perfect and the rooms were luxurious, modern and very comfortable to stay in. The breakfast was exactly what we needed to start each day. We would highly recommend The Bank Hotel and would stay again.

We had a wonderful experience at The Bank Hotel. The location was amazing, the rooms were modern and lovely and the bathrooms were terrific. The entire staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I highly recommend The Bank Hotel.

Not sure why The Bank Hotel does not rate much higher. Fabulously large room, on the square, with an incredible bathroom. Very large bed with comfortable mattress - a great sleep. While the hotel breakfast is across the street, I found the separation to be a benefit. The hotel room felt more AirBnb, yet when I called the front desk, service was at my door very promptly. A true bargain, yet quality. And the breakfast at Loconda della Posta was exceptionally well provided. Lastly, the front desk as helpful and friendly.

We had the most amazing 7 night stay at the Bank Hotel at the end of October. Our room was stunning! High ceilings, plenty of space. Fixtures and fittings were of a high standard. Cleaning was exceptional. We had a large window that overlooked the busy square, so nice for people watching. TV was great, with the option to change channels to English speaking. The huge bed was comfortable with good quality bedding. We heard no noise from either the windows or other rooms. Shower was huge ! Toiletries were of a good quality and topped up each day. Breakfast was served in the main hotel opposite. Staff at Breakfast were so kind and served all types of coffee on request. Pastries, cereal, fruit, waffles & eggs were beautiful and re stocked regularly. Staff in the Locanda Della Posta provided excellent restaurant recommendations, and were always polite. The Bank Hotel in our opinion is perfectly positioned. The Mini Metro is just behind which takes you to the main train station where you can do many day trips. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful stay. It certainly was a highlight of our 3 week trip.

I stayed at the Bank Hotel in early May 2024 since Locanda della Posta was full. Apparently, the hotel had just opened about 10 days before our arrival and so was still working through the details. Some things to know: there was no hotel signage so I walked to the top floor of the building in search of the hotel before crossing the street to Locanda to find out where the rooms were. There’s actually no reception at the Bank. The hotel should share this upon booking. Our door didn’t lock properly so someone had to come fix it, and the light switches didn’t all work properly so we had a difficult time turning on and off the lights. I have no doubt these details will be worked out over time. I just wish we had a warning. The positives: our room looked out over the town square and beautiful Perugian rooftops. We could see the sunset in the evening. The room was spacious and a great size for two friends. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom was large and well appointed. I look forward to returning in the future.

Located 3 minutes from the hotel, on the pedestrian street that crosses the old town in an old bourgeois building. The top two floors form the outbuilding. Access by elevator. The rooms are large, modern and super comfortable. Exceptional bedding. Super modern bathroom. Impeccable cleanliness. View of the square. Good soundproofing. Tea and coffee at discretion. Fridge and safe. TV and wifi weak due to the work still in progress. All the monuments are 5 minutes away. The breakfast buffet at 15 euros served at the hotel is exceptional! Competent and pleasant staff.

A Perugia per un'udienza, ho scelto la dependance della Locanda della posta The Bank perché era la più vicina al TAR. Ottima accoglienza, personale gentile e disponibile, stanza ampia, bellissimo bagno, lenzuola e biancheria da bagno di qualità, colazione molto buona e varia. C'è anche un garage a disposizione degli ospiti a poche decine di metri. Unica piccola pecca: non era possibile aumentare la temperatura nella stanza, solo spegnere l'aria condizionata o diminuire la temperatura. Se dovessi tornare a Perugia, certamente sceglierei di nuovo The Bank.
