Perth Hotels with Swimming Pools

I was disappointed with my stay and wouldn't consider this a 5-star hotel. The lobby was incredibly small, and the large mirror at the reception was confusing, making it easy for guests to accidentally walk into it. Surprisingly, there were no toiletries provided in the room, so we had to call staff just to get a toothbrush delivered. The hotel robe was very low quality, almost resembling a kitchen rag, which was a letdown. The swimming pool was also tiny and didn’t allow for much relaxation or enjoyment. The breakfast spread was pretty average—nothing impressive or memorable. Overall, I didn’t enjoy my stay. The only real highlight was the beautiful view from our room, which was truly stunning. But for a 5-star experience, I expected much more.

We stayed for 8 days and truly enjoyed our stay. Respnsive housekeeping service, clean room with nice waterfront view plus a good location very near Elizabeth Quay. The F&B Manager, Trung had been very hospitable and friendly during our daily hotel breakfast sessions. One suggestion is to have more variety in food choices for occupants on longer stays.

The room is clean, spacious and well-equipped. Although the breakfast is not rich, it can meet the needs and is OK. The service is in place. I forgot the adapter in other hotels in Western Australia and it was solved immediately at the front desk. The service is five-star. I stayed in the tour group room a few nights ago, so the facilities are relatively simple, which is understandable! The location is good, and it is convenient to the pier and the center.

Had a good enough stay for about a week. A bit far from the train stations but also relatively quiet area. I do think accessing the gym and swimming pool here was a bit inconvenient with where you have to go to but the room we stayed in was the defining feature overall so the hotel did its service.

I booked online. Soon after I booked, I called Alderney on Hay to clarify the room. As I needed twin beds for my friend and I. On my arrival there was a queen bed. I was told it was going to cost me another $25 dollars extra to split the bed into two. Or they could open up the 2nd bedroom for $30 extra per night. Three nights at a total of an extra $90 dollars. Checking with them about my phone call to clarify the twin beds. The lady state that my phone call was received about the twin beds, but the receptionist didn’t let the house staff know. With my long day of travel and the look on the housekeeper’s face, that she had more work to do at knock off time. I just said open the other room. Laying in bed that night thinking. No, this it not my mistake… And I shouldn’t have to pay extra. I when to reception to discuss the matter. I was told the 2nd bedroom was unlocked. Which is wasn’t and my daughter can clarify. The receptionist could fix the situation and she was going to get the manager to contact me. No contact made. Plus the several times I was at reception to fix the problem.
