Woodcroft House

We had a lovely relaxing 4 night stay in the spectacularly large and comfortable Turret Suite room affording us some sweeping views of the Perth city centre, river, mountains and beyond. Lots of treats in the room (and out of the room), Nespresso coffee machine, mini fridge, huge comfy bed, spacious bathroom with large shower and bath. The whole property is very well kept in its traditional surroundings, a log fire welcomes you into the dining area where a fresh homecooked and very tasty Full Scottish awaits you (or one of the very many hot and cold items on the expansive menu). We also had dinner one night, again all freshly prepared and presented as a fine dining meal, but in a relaxed and homely environment - the onion rings were fantastic also!!! Claire was an outstanding host, never intrusive but always making sure our stay was perfect and giving us plenty of ideas of things to do and see. She couldn't do enough for us and made sure our stay was wholly memorable - five star everything! Beautiful place to stay with the most amazing host Claire who made our stay so memorable. The room was so pretty and spotless, the decor was gorgeous and the bed was super comfortable. The garden of the Woodcraft is amazing having beautiful view, nice trees and flowers. The food (breakfast & dinner) was so delicious. Many Thanks to Claire for the lovely food and the wonderful hospitality. My husband & I can’t wait to come back.

We visited Perth for a New Year break. We had read the reviews before hand and I’m pleased to say the stay was outstanding. Clare was fantastic both her hosting and cooking. The room was delightful the attention to detail evident. We had two evening meals which was the best food we had during the trip and what you would expect in a fine dinning restaurant. Thanks Clare and Alec for a fabulous stay.
