We stayed for 2 nights and upgraded our room to sea view. The room was as per the photos and the sea view was lovely although a little farther away than anticipated. Nice balcony but gaps meant our dog could perhaps explore other balconies!! The room was spacious and well laid out, but the granite stone bedside 'table' is a mistake!! Lovely as it may be,. The ensuite area is partly open plan to the bedroom leading to a large shower. Challenging hanging up wet towels and with a very small towel rail. Large comfortable bed. The hotel is new & modern with very interesting designs and aesthetics...lots of granite! The reception, bar and lounges, area (with fire) were great as was the 'beach' walk to the restaurants! The spa facilities and activities were excellent.... we loved the pool, bubbles and resistance walkway, and the relaxing seating areas. The hotel has EV charging points and staff were very helping in enabling this. Overall staff were helpful and friendly. We used both restaurants - The Suite and the l'Haliotis. We enjoyed our evening at The Suite with friendly helpful services; the 2nd night in the l'Haliotis we decided to try the vegetarian options 'of the moment' - they sounded interesting! Unfortunately the dish of various beans and broth was wholly unimaginative and tasteless....we returned it to the kitchen; we were offered another choice of salad and avocados; this arrived with a pile of radicchio leaves and very little avocado......disappointing....the waiter reflected our evening in the final bill. Breakfast was very good with various choices but getting a good cup of coffee proved challenging both times! However, notwithstanding this we enjoyed our 2 nights, it has parking and is dog friendly and is in a lovely location for visiting the area. On the issue of the vegetarian meal choices and quality, we communicated this to the hotel Manager directly, who during our stay was incredibly helpful, professional and friendly whenever our paths crossed; he was very concerned about our comments and he advised he would raise the concerns with his Chef Team to increase the quality and choice of vegetarian/vegan/healthy options ! Good enough....

This hotel was worth the visit and the pool was amazing, the rooms were clean and spacious. The local area was outside the doorstep and I am sure in summer it is a hive of activity but it was still very pleasant. Breakfast was also very good. Just one word of warning is around evening meals, there is no where to eat before 7pm, having been on the road early it would have been nice but I guess this is how it works in some places, however we couldn't get into the hotel restaurant and we were staying there so we had to drive to the port, it's a shame hotels don't give priority to guests. Apart from this it was a nice place and I would return.

Arrived in a downpour to the car park entrance tried the intercom several times no answer , another guest said we had to find a space on the street then book in. Once in the hotel had to search for someone at reception. Once in no coffee in room to take whilst drying off so asked at reception for some decaf coffee, 1.1/2 hours later still nothing so on way out asked about the coffee. Reception said they had no decaf but was amazed they hadn’t bothered to inform us. Went out for a meal on our return there were several cars waiting to park including taxis so we fetch the receptionist again who was working at the bar : PLEASE GET MORE STAFF or change your parking system ( use number plate recognition) Overall clean but please look up photo attached of the extractor in room 311

It is a very nice hotel, no question. Please keep in mind, that I am doing this feedback based on the prices per night, which was 260 €/night garden view for a single traveller. I was staying for 10 days, the hotel did not offer a special deal for long stays or from my perspective as well not for single travellers. So 260 a night for a 4 star hotel in Europe, this raises expectations. Breakfast was not included, could have been booked for 17.5 € per breakfast. I preferred the artisan bakery 150m away. Room was really beautiful as shown on the pictures. The design makes the room feel big. The bed was comfortable, but blanket and pillows were far too warm. Even with air-co, I could not manage to sleep perfectly fine. It is a preference thing, but for me the concept to have only one blanket on the big bed is not working. Coming back to the garden view, the view is to the car park. This is not a bad thing, but it is the truth, in the distance there is a view to the forest. The good thing on this room direction is the balcony had sun in the afternoon. Talking of which, the balconies are separated by wooden boards, by this you are not really having privacy as you can look through. And unfortunately, it is not dog proof for small dogs, as they can walk over to the neighbour balcony crossing under the wooden boards (approx. 20cm open space). As I was travelling with a dog fitting through and curious, this made me leave him inside. By the way, the dog costs 30 €/night. I always wonder, why you need to pay for the night and not for the stay. Do they clean differently on a daily basis, if a dog is in? At least they did not. For me as a dog owner it was challenging, to organize the dog around the room cleaning. As it was not sure, that if you are outside between 10:00-13:00, that the service made it, even with signage. 2 times, no cleaning and no fresh tea/coffee/water refill. The pool area is nice. It is bubbling all over the place. Not really for swimming, but for resting. The sauna area is nice (hamam, 40°C salt sauna, 60° and 80(?)° finnish sauna. A lot of people are not sticking to the hygiene rules (towel, water cleaning in hamam) and nobody is checking it. This is a bit uncomfortable, but if you know, you adapt your behaviour and not expect a "clean" place. And final mention on the TV: The TV resets every 1 hour. So watching relaxed a movie in the evening is not possible. This is actually a joke for a 4 star hotel. I am not going to complain about the TV channel offer, even so I didn't like it. Would you expect a 4star hotel to enable streaming? Yes for sure. But there is no opportunity to connect your devices with the TV to stream or even stream on the TV. So to sum it up: This hotel stay is too expensive for what is offered.

What a fantastic hotel. The staff, the decor, the location, the spa, the bed (oh my God, the bed), all absolutely amazing. God knows how much they spent on it but I Googled one small bed cushion and that was over 100 euros! The rooms have a unique style. The sink is behind a glass panel actually in the room, there is a separate toilet and a walk in shower cubicle with a normal and rainfall shower. If I had to be really picky I would suggest removing the concrete bed table as although it looks stunning, is not practical in the slightest. The room could do with some hooks to hang wet jackets on and somewhere to successfully dry towels. But none of this detracted from our stay. We absolutely loved it. I’d love to know what type of beds they have. I really didn’t want to get out of it. We will definitely be back again. Thank you for looking after us.
